Hi guys! Rissa here with a few R U [ I ] N E D announcements!
First is a small explanation as to how sorcery works in the land of Gwyrholm. You see, sorcerers possess the innate ability to perform ANY type of magic, but limit themselves to one. While one could train themselves in each type of magic, it would limit their ability to excel at any of them. Common practice in training sorcerers is to first locate their strongest magic form then educate them in that line of magic. (There are a few exceptions to this general rule, but I need not explain that at this point and time.) I figured as our sorceress, Soleil, would be introducing in one of the next two chapters, I'd give some background.
On a second and much less major note, what are your thoughts on the three Runeholders we've met thus far- Brady, Callan, and Phoena? I'm curious as to what you guys are thinking and what's going through your minds about their particular runes! (Remember: Brady holds the rune of Selflessness, Callan holds Humility, and Phoena holds Bravery.) care to share your thoughts and opinions? I'd love to hear them!
