"Tae, are you sure you're okay? You seriously look like you're about to burst into tears" Namjoon commented with a small frown as the two were walking home.

"Maybe coming here was a bad idea. I should've stayed in the old school" The younger replied as he let out a small sigh. "And let those bastards take advantage of you? No thanks. I'm sorry but I'm glad you moved here. At least I can keep an eye on you"

The brunet smiled as he linked arms with the older. He was grateful to have him. "At least that's a plus side. When you left, it was hell for me. You were the only one I had. The only reason I'm glad to be here is because you attend this school" He replied, the silver haired boy chuckling.

"If anyone bothers you, let me know. I'll deal with them for you"

Taehyung simply nodded and they continued their journey home.

"Bye, guys!" Jungkook waved as he walked into his house. The group had just dropped Jungkook off to his house and were making their own way home now.

"So.. What're you gonna do about Taehyung?" Jin asked, breaking the silence. Jimin simply shrugged. "What can I do? Jungkook clearly doesn't want him around so I guess that's it" He replied as they walked down the street.

Jimin was dissapointed. He really wanted to welcome Taehyung into the school and become friends with him. But now he couldn't. "I feel sorry for that kid.. I guess his past will always stick with him" Hoseok commented, causing Jimin to frown.

He didn't see why everyone was so caught up in Taehyung's past rather than trying to get to know the present TaeHyung, the changed Taehyung. "I'll see you guys tomorrow" He said, waving goodbye before turning down his road.

Usually he'd wait longer until all his friends had gone home but today wasn't in the mood and just wanted to go home. As soon as he entered his house, he headed straight to the kitchen to greet his mother. "Oh, Jimin. You're back?"

He kissed his mother's cheek before hugging her from behind. "Hey eomma"

"How was school?"

The younger let out a small groan before sitting on top of the kitchen counter. "Not so great. I kind of made a new friend today" He said, causing his mother to raise an eyebrow. "I'm not really understanding why that's a bad thing but okay"

Jimin sighed, shaking his head. "The bad thing is that Jungkook hates him with a passion so I can't be his friend anymore" His mother frowned slightly at that. "Why?" Jimin paused for a moment, not knowing how to explain the situation without telling his mother about Taehyung's past.

"Well, he's basically just jealous. The new kid is really well known for winning everyone's.. hearts, because he's quite cute and so gained a few haters along the way. Jungkook is one of them" Jimin attempted to explain, hoping his mother wouldn't further ask about Taehyung's situation.

"I'm sorry but that's not a good enough reason to hate someone and prevent you from being friends with him. Jimin-ah, you should be friends with the boy. He's new so he probably doesn't have much friends. Don't be like everyone else, don't isolate him"

Jimin let out a sigh. If only it was that easy for him. If he had it his own way, he'd become friends with Taehyung and prove to everyone that younger is not at all how they think he is. "I'll see what I should do.." He mumbled.

"Make the right decision. Anyway, go get changed. We need to leave soon"

The younger raised an eyebrow. "Where are we going?" He questioned. "Your father's boss invited us to dinner. We're going there tonight so hurry" Jimin groaned as he jumped off the counter and made his way up the stairs.
