The most hated place around.
All the adults say that we should be grateful that we have this (horrible) education system.
But they do not live and breathe and go through the motions that get us through school every day.
They do not understand the pain and the anxiety and all the stress,
Boy, the stress that comes with it all.
It's really horrible.
Honestly, on average I cry about 3 out of the 5 days of school. A week.
That's extremely sad.
For someone to cry and break down because of a place where we go to learn.
Another name for it is Hell.
But we are forced to go otherwise our parents are jailed.
So, no, parents, adults, teachers, etc. I will not be grateful for this education system.
I will not be grateful for being forced to go to a place that hurts people more than it helps them.
I will stand against going to school against my own will.
I will not do 3+ hours of homework every night from just one teacher. And then get more or less homework from ever other teacher.
I have other things to busy myself with.
I do after-school clubs and activities, like you encourage us to do.
I have chores at home.
And I have a social life. (Wow, shocker.)
But every student now is absorbed in all this homework and stress that needs to be completed because there's no other way.
We must get good grades to get into good colleges and all that.
It's just so much mounted onto a high schooler's shoulders.
It's not like we can just say "Fuck you" and not do any of our homework and fail.
Adults, teachers, administrators, everyone believes that this is enough to handle.
And then a student falls asleep in class. All that does it make the teacher frown and call them lazy.
They don't even realize it's too much to handle to even stay awake at school.
Please.
I want to have a social life.
I want more than just a few hours of sleep each night.
I want to go to school and want to learn, not to just pass.
We must juggle all of these things,
What more do you want me to do?
