Kayla- 1 Hour Later

I heard the door open downstairs and somebody put their keys on the counter.

"AUG BRUH YA HOME?" I heard Mel yell.

"NO HE'S OUT!" I yelled back.

Mel came in the room and stood in the doorway.

"How ya know he was home?" I asked.

"His car still in the driveway." He said sighing.

"Oh." I said.

"Where ya crutches at?"He asked.

I sighed.

"Long story short, somebody took 'em and that's where August went." I said in a bored tone rolling my eyes.

"Oh, so somebody hatin' huh?" He asked.

"Yeah, she just straight up mean, she thinks I'm August's girlfriend but August is like a big brother to me honestly." I said.

"Oh, he likes ya." Mel said.

"What ya mean?" I asked confused.

"Likes ya likes ya, I'm talkin' loves ya likes ya." He said nodding his head.

"Really?" I asked.

"Yeah, he been talkin' 'bout you all da time beybeh he in love, he said you turnin' him soft but hard in some places." Mel said laughing.

"Should I talk to him 'bout it?" I asked.

"Only if ya feel the same way towards him." Mel said.

"Ok, thank ya Melly." I said.

"Damn ya accent strong, what kind that is, I ain't nava heard that." He said.

I was surprised.

"Ya ain't never met a girl from New York befoe?" I asked.

"Nah ain't no New Orleans broads like ya self." He said making me blush.

"So ya still a virgin huh?" He asked.

"Yeah, ain't ya a virgin?" I asked shocked.

"Nah, August ain't neither." He said.

"What 'bout Jamal or Travis?" I asked.

I met Jamal, he be out at his girlfriend house.

"Travis a virgin." He said shaking his head.

"Can ya take me to a studio?" I asked.

"Sure, ya can sing?" He asked. 

"Yeah, a little, I was in the church choir." I said.

He helped me get ready to go.
