Your POV

You sat next to Garnet and Steven, as the three of you watched Crying Breakfast friends.

"Steven. I'm confused. Why are they crying again?" You asked for the fifth time. This was your first time watching the show, so you were really confused.

But at the moment, Steven's phone rang. He took his phone out of his pocket and looked at the number.

"O-oh! It's Connie. I'll be right back." Steven whispered and put his phone up to his ear. "Hey, Connie." Steven said as he walked out the door.

You stood up and switched off the tv. "What now?" You asked Garnet.

"I don't know." She shrugged, in her usual monotone voice.

"Oh, come on. You gotta work with me. Come on." You kneeled on Steven's bed and threw your arms on top of Garnet's hair. "Mm... so soft." You muttered as you felt your face sink into Garnet's hair.

"Y/N!!" Garnet yelled.

You opened your eyes and pulled away from her hair. "Ah!! How deep is your hair?!" You screamed, pulling your arms out.

"... It's best not to question it." She said.

You grabbed the remote of the tv and dropped it on her head, in about 10 - 15 seconds it sank into her hair.

You stared wide eyed with a blank face at her hair.

"Eh..."

Time skip

"Y/N. Come here." Garnet said.

"What is it, Garnet?"

"I want to tell you a secret." She pulled you close. You blushed.

"Sh... only you, Steven and the other gems know this." She whispered.

You closed your eyes. "Open them." A voice said. You opened your eyes and saw... two gems.

"What?!" You shrieked.

"Oh. You don't like us like this Y/N?" They asked in unison.

"No. No. Wait... does this mean... you're a fusion?!"

"Well, yeah. Isn't it obvious." The red gem shrugged.

"Like Opal, and Sugilite, and Sardonyx, and Alexandrite, and Rainbow Quartz, and Stevonnie, and... Malachite?!"

"Yeah."

"I'm Saphire, it's lovely to meet you." The blue gem said. "Face to face."

"Yeah, and I'm Ruby! Man! You're looking great!" Ruby hugged you, burrying her face in your stomach.

"Hehe! That tickles!" You fell backwards. Then realized. "Hey... about that hair thing. What is it with Garnet's hair?" You brought up the topic.

"Well. Garnet gets the hairstyle from me, but with Saphire's long hair, it stacks up. Into one box of hair." Ruby explains.

"That... makes... sense..." You made a wierd face, chuckling softly.

Ruby and Saphire fused again. "Damn Garnet! How come you never told me you were a fusion?" You asked, sitting cross-legged on the wooden floor.

"We thought you weren't ready. But since you found out about my hair, it was time to explain."

"But I'm still confused, how come you don't have like extra arms or legs or something?"

"I have an extra eye." She took off her glasses casually and her third eyes closed, supposedley giving you a wink.

You giggled, covering your mouth with your right hand. "He... he..." You chuckled.

She placed her arms under your shoulders and lifted you up. You stared into her multi-colored eyes.

She closed them and opened them one by one. You could hear popping sounds every time she did so.

"Nyah, nyah, nyah, Nyaaaah!"She stuck her tounge out playfully.

"Ha... ha... Hahahaha!!" You laughed loudly, enough for the other gems to hear.

"Garnet? What's happening?" Pear and Amethyst ran in from the temple.

"Yeah!! We heard screaming!!" Amethyst screamed.

"That wasn't screaming." You winked innocently. "That was laughing! Can't you tell the diffrence?"
