Toast walked slowly back to his room. When he got back he closed his door and ran over to his computer. I have to know more about Jimmy! Toast thought as he typed in his name. When he typed in Jimmy's name, many articles popped up, but one caught his attention. He clicked on it. Child missing, in 2005? Toast thought. There was a picture of the child displayed below the article.
"Gregory Casket ?" Toast questioned out loud. I met Ghost in 2005! He looked beaten up, but I didn't think much of it... Toast thought. He looked at the picture even closer. The kid even looked a bit like Ghost too! Toast shook his head in confusion. He continued to read.
(a little bit from article)
Gregory went missing around the same time after the police found the dead bodies of two children. Only one of the children was able to be identified. We are currently trying to find Gregory, but the only clue we've found was a small piece of fabric.
"This is terrible!" Toast exclaimed out loud. He couldn't believe what he had just read. Could Ghost be the missing child? Toast thought. He just shook his head in denial. He walked over to his bed, soon after falling asleep.
(6 hours later)
Toast walked downstairs, heating up his tea from last night. He heard the floor boards creaking. He looked up to see Ghost shuffling his way downstairs.
"Good morning Sir!" Toast laughed as Ghost slid into one of the chairs in the kitchen. Ghost replied, but to Toast it just sounded like a weird little squeak.
"Put your head up Sir." Toast told him. Ghost propped his head up on his arm. Toast sat down next to Ghost. Ever since the night before he had been sure to watch Ghost more closely. Ghost's head began to slip. Toast burst out laughing as Ghost's head slammed on the table, causing him to jump back up. Toast began to laugh even harder when Ghost's face turned bright red in embarrassment.
"Uh... Sir?"
"Yes Toast?"
"I know you don't remember much, but what do you remember about your childhood?" Toast questioned. Ghost sighed.
"Well, I remember my father died before I was born, and I met you when I was 11. That's pretty much it." Ghost told him. Toast nodded.
"Well Sir, do you remember anything about possibly an... disappearances? You know, around the time you met me?" Toast asked. Ghost looked surprised.
"A-Actually, I do! I think it was about 3 months before I met you!" Ghost exclaimed. He began to bounce up and down excitedly. Around the same time? Weird... Toast thought. He was worried, but the sight of Ghost looking so happy made Toast smile. Ghost stopped bouncing and just sat there. He seemed to be thinking. Toast could see the brown color of Ghost's eyes being drowned out by a wave of crimson. Toast began to panic as Ghost went pale. Toast watched as Ghost kicked his feet up onto the table, leaning back in his chair.
"J-Jimmy?" Toast stuttered. Jimmy flicked his eyes towards Toast. His gaze seemed to slice right though him.
"Who else would I be?" Jimmy laughed. That was defiantly Jimmy. He even sounded the part.
"I have a few questions." Toast told him. Jimmy nodded.
"Ok, first off, do you remember your childhood?" Toast questioned.
"Yeah."
"Alright, next, do you know anything important that I should know?" Toast asked.
"Not that I know of." Jimmy sighed.
"Ok then... Last question. Do you know anything about this?" Toast questioned, sliding a print out of the article he read towards Jimmy. Jimmy looked closely at the paper. He looked angry.
"Uh... Jimmy-" Toast began. Jimmy held a finger up to his lips, signaling for him to be quiet. It took a solid 6 minute for Jimmy to get done reading the article. Toast assumed he couldn't read very well.
"So... do you know anything about it?" Toast asked when Jimmy finished.
"I do." Jimmy smiled.
"Really? Can you tell me?" Toast questioned. Jimmy shook his head.
"Why not?" Toast sighed.
"It's a secret." Jimmy giggled, a demonic grin forming on his face. Toast felt the terror wash over him. So that's one of the 'secrets' Jimmy talks about! Toast thought. Toast watched as Jimmy's eyes became brown again.
"Dang it Jimmy! What did he say to you?" Ghost questioned, a worried look on his face. Toast sighed.
"Nothing Sir." Toast told him. Ghost began to giggle. Toast gave him a questioning look.
"Do you remember that time with the two army guys?" Ghost giggled. Toast nodded, beginning to laugh. Toast laughed even harder while Ghost did a very bad impression of one of the guys. Ghost could hear Jimmy laughing. This time Jimmy's laugh was so real and innocent it almost made Ghost cry. Toast began to do his impression of the other guy. Ghost and Toast ran around the house, roleplaying as those two army guys. They were doing this for the rest of the afternoon.
