Ghost opened his eyes to see Toast sitting on the couch next to him.

"Toast?" Ghost questioned, sitting up a bit.

"Oh! You're awake!" Toast exclaimed, turning towards him. He looked calm.
"What happened?" Ghost asked as he noticed the now fading head ache.
"W-well, you see Sir... Jimmy killed that man who attacked us." Toast explained. Ghost had a growing feeling of worry.
"Did he hurt you?" Ghost asked, scanning Toast. He didn't look hurt. It seemed like he had already patched himself up.
"No Sir, he was actually very calm. It almost seemed unnatural!" Toast told him.
Is that true Jimmy?
Yep
Are you sure?
Do I sound unsure to you? Jimmy sighed. Ghost shivered. He sounded dead serious. Unusual for him.
"Well then! Are we just going to rest today?" Ghost questioned. Toast nodded.
"Yes Sir. I'll be over here." Toast told him as he got up and walked over to the kitchen table. Ghost looked at the clock. 8am, Ghost thought as he peaked out the window. It looked so nice outside. He opened the window a bit, letting in a little breeze. He saw Aimee sitting on the lawn. She seemed to be enjoying herself. The sun was especially bright, making everything have a slight glow. He looked to see a couple walking down the sidewalk. They looked so happy together that it made Ghost a little jealous. He heard Jimmy laugh.

Why are you jealous of them? Jimmy laughed.

Why wouldn't I be? They look so happy together.

So?

What? Haven't you ever wanted to be happy with someone? Ghost asked him. Jimmy went dead silent.

That was a long, long time ago, Johnny... Jimmy finally answered.

Don't you still want to be?

Sometimes, but I can't...

Why not?

You know why. Jimmy sighed. Ghost nodded. He could hear a hint of despair in Jimmy's voice. Ghost watched as the couple walked out of sight. He looked up at the sky. He observed how the clouds reacted to the wind.

"Sir?" Toast questioned. Ghost turned.

"Yes Toast?"

"Are you ok?" he asked, observing the look on Ghost's face.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Why?"

"You just have this look on your face. You look sad." Toast sighed.

"Oh."

"Why?"

"Just because of something Jimmy said, that's all." Ghost told him. Toast had a questioning look on his face, but didn't say anything else about it. Toast sat down on the couch next to him, both of them looking out the window.

"It's so nice outside today." Toast mumbled. Ghost nodded in agreement. He watched Aimee turn towards them, waving. Ghost hesitantly waved back while Toast gave a polite little grin. She laid down on the lawn. She seemed to be falling asleep. Ghost rested his head on the back of the couch.

"Tell me a story, Toast." Ghost commanded.

"A story? I already told Jimmy a story though!" Toast exclaimed, trying to to laugh.

"But I want to hear a story as well." Ghost told him.

"Fine." Toast sighed, telling him the same story he told Jimmy. By the time he had finished, Ghost had a large smile on his face.

"That was a good story." Ghost laughed, snuggling into the back of the couch a bit more. Toast giggled at how similar Ghost and Jimmy were, at least when it came to this kind of thing. Ghost just stared at the clouds while Toast began to fall asleep. A relaxing day.
