Toast was writing all the way until it was time to go. He looked down. Ghost seemed to be sleeping.
"Sir?" Toast questioned, leaning down and placing his hand on Ghost's shoulder. Ghost looked up.
"What?" Ghost mumbled, shifting his eyes upwards.
"It's time to go." Toast told him, standing up straight. Ghost pushed himself up. He got about half way up before he fell back down. Ghost tried again, this time using the wall for support. Toast walked over to the main door and watched as Ghost tiredly stumbled over.
"I'm ready to go." Ghost yawned.
"You don't even have your boots on." Toast told him, pointing. Ghost grunted, quickly slipping his boots on. He didn't even bother trying to look tall today. Toast lead Ghost out to the van. The two got in the car and sped off.
(1 Hour time skip)
Ghost had woken up a little bit more by the time they arrived.
"Sir, we're here." Toast told him. Ghost nodded, opening the door. He hopped out and walked around the side of the van, then waiting for Toast to get out. The pair walked up to the house, which had a very creepy aura to it. Toast was very hesitant to knock on the door, but he did anyways. The door unlocked. Toast gasped as a very, very bloody man opened the door. Toast looked over to see Ghost's eyes had grown wide.
"Are you the people I called?" The man asked. Toast nodded. The man smiled, but it was so fake even the stupidest person could tell. The man motioned for them to come in. Toast walked in first, while Ghost inched his way inside.
"Are you ok Sir?" Toast whispered. Ghost rubbed his eyes, then nodding.
"Y-yeah." Ghost stuttered, rubbing his eyes once more. Toast could tell he was lying, but there was nothing he could do now.
"S-So... what seems to be the problem?" Ghost asked after he collected himself.
"I'm not sure what it is, but it's destroying all my stuff, and hurting me." The man told Ghost, motioning to the room around them. The walls were covered in blood stains and burn marks. Ghost clenched his fists, trying to ignore Jimmy's pleas. He knew that if he let Jimmy out, he would kill the man and probably Toast as well.
"Alright. You should probably patch yourself up. We'll take a look around." Ghost told the man. The man nodded, walking into a different room. Ghost sighed, looking down at the floor. He felt something on his shoulder. He looked to see Toast patting his shoulder reassuringly.
"It'll be ok, Sir. Lets just get this over with." Toast sighed. Ghost nodded, then walking up the stairs. Ghost continued to walk, his steps getting weaker and weaker as he continued on. He had to stop as his head began to feel heavier. He propped himself up against the wall, taking a few deep breaths.
"Sir? Are sure you're ok?" a very concerned Toast asked from behind him.
"Yes, Toast." Ghost sighed weakly, giving him a thumbs up. Ghost stood up straight, wobbling a bit as he did. Toast was ready to catch him if needed. Something was extra off about this house, and they were going to get to the bottom of it.
