Toast had gone upstairs, still embarrassed from what had happened. He was typing on his laptop when he heard a knocking on his door. Toast got up and walked over, opening the door. It was Ghost.
"Drive me to the store!" Ghost ordered. Toast's eyes widened, surprised by Ghost's commanding tone.
"What... why do we need to go to the store?" Toast asked, frowning.
"Because I want candy. Now lets go!" Ghost exclaimed, running down stairs. Toast sighed, following him down the stairs and over to the front door.
"I don't think the stores are even open right now... it's only 2am."Toast mumbled, slowly following him down the stairs and over to the front door.
"Walmart is probably open... let's go!" Ghost screeched, sprinting outside.
"Aren't you going to put your boots on?" Toast questioned, hesitantly following him.
"Nope! We need to go right now." Ghost told him, shaking his head. The two got in the car.
"You know, you're quite strange sometimes." Toast told Ghost, glancing over at him.
"I know... but I want sugar." Ghost muttered, stretching his legs.
"I thought that when you knocked on my door it was about something serious. I can tell this is very important to you though." Toast sighed, adjusting his grip on the steering wheel. Ghost nodded. The rest of the way to the store wasn't very interesting. It only took a few minutes, 10 minutes at max. Toast parked in a space near the main doors of the building. He knew Ghost was feeling a bit lazy. Toast followed Ghost into the store.
"Since I'm most likely going to be paying for this I would like you to get three items at the most. Is that alright?" Toast questioned.
"Yep! I'll be back soon!" Ghost exclaimed, running off. Toast sighed. He knew he would just have to wait.
Toast looked around in the nearby aisles while he waited for Ghost to get back. He knew that Ghost sometimes got cravings for sweet food, and that the craving as usually very strong. Toast was about to move on the next aisle when he heard a noise behind him.
"Gavin! What are you doing here?!" Toast exclaimed with a questioning tone.
"Just hanging around." Gavin sighed, a large grin on his face.
"So your just 'hanging around' in Walmart at 2am? That's kind of weird you know..." Toast mumbled, frowning. Gavin shrugged.
"I have nothing better to do. Why are you here?" Gavin asked.
"Sir wanted some candy. That's usually why I'm here at this time of morning." Toast sighed.
"I didn't know you were still his butler." Gavin scoffed, smirking.
"I'm not his butler." Toast muttered quietly.
"Sure, that's what they always say! Why don't you just marry him already?" Gavin questioned. Toast's eyes widened.
"W-wha-...nonsense! Sir and I are just friends, you know that!" Toast hissed, looking around to make sure that Ghost wasn't around to hear what Gavin.
"Right, and that's why you kissed him earlier!" Gavin laughed.
"Hush! I'm not going to argue with you." Toast grumbled when he noticed Ghost walking towards them. Ghost's eyes widened in when he saw Gavin.
"What is he here doing here?!" Ghost growled, hiding behind Toast.
"I'm just hanging out. Nothing crazy." Gavin told him, smirking. Ghost's eyes narrowed, glancing at him.
"I don't believe you..." Ghost mumbled.
"It'll be fine, Sir." Toast sighed. He could see Ghost was starting to get a crazed look in his eyes. Ghost looked up at him, frowning.
"Are you sure?" Ghost questioned.
"Of course. I wouldn't lie to you." Toast told him, smiling reassuringly. Ghost nodded, calming down a bit.
"F-fine. Just don't do anything Gavin." Ghost grumbled, glaring at him. Gavin giggled quietly.
"Don't worry about me, I'll just be over here. See you later, Johnny." Gavin sighed, smiling. The two watched Gavin walk away before relaxing.
"Can I have my candy now?" Ghost questioned. Toast laughed quietly.
"After I pay for it." Toast told him, smiling. He quickly payed for it, then handing the bag to Ghost.
"Thanks!" Ghost exclaimed. Toast nodded, then following Ghost back out to the car. The two quickly walked out to their van, then getting in. They were driving down the road when they heard a quiet shuffling from the back of the van. Toast pulled over to the side of the road, then glancing behind him. To his surprise, it an entity he saw. Well, not really. It was just Gavin.
"What are you doing back there?" Toast questioned, frowning. Gavin shrugged.
"I'm not sure to be honest..." Gavin sighed. Toast watched as Ghost turned around, his eyes widening.
"Why-... why do you need to be so creepy all the time?! Do you just enjoy stalking us or something?" Ghost growled angrily.
"Not you! I only purposely stalk Johnny." Gavin told him, frowning.
"I can't say I'm surprised." Toast sighed, rolling his eyes.
"It's ok Ghost, I won't do anything. I promise." Gavin giggled, smirking. Ghost rolled his eyes, going back to eating his sweets. Toast started the car back up again, hoping that they could get home without stopping again.
(Ok so when I wrote this I was having a craving for candy and other sweet stuff. I just thought I should give you an explanation.)
