The two began to fall asleep when suddenly there was a loud knock on the door. Ghost sat up and adjusted his hood. Toast stood up and walked over to the door. He opened it.

"Hello?" Toast questioned, opening the door the rest of the way. There was a police officer. Ghost froze up.

"Hi! I just wanted to ask you a few questions, if that 's alright." The officer told him. Toast nodded, inviting him inside. The officer gave Ghost a weird look. Ghost decided to lay back down. Toast and the officer were talking for about 10 minutes before the officer got up and walked over to Ghost.

"Are you ok?" The officer asked. Ghost nodded. The officered scanned Ghost's face.

"Could you take off your hood please?" The officer questioned. Ghost sat up, then hesitantly lowering his hood. The officer seemed surprised.

"So... what's your name?" The officer asked, now sounding a bit nervous.

"Johnny." Ghost mumbled, shifting his gaze. The officer didn't seem convinced, but he didn't say anything.

"Ok..." The officer sighed, walking towards the door. Ghost sighed in relief as the officer close the door. Suddenly, the phone rang. Toast walked over and answered. Ghost watched as Toast looked over at him, then turning his back to him.

"Who is it?" Ghost asked. Toast just glanced at him. Ghost frowned and stood up.

"Seriously, who is it?" Ghost questioned. He tried to grab the phone, but Toast held it above his head so Ghost couldn't reach it. Ghost stood on his toes, but still couldn't reach it. Toast got a chill as Ghost  growled in frustration.

"It was just Gertrude!" Toast exclaimed, putting the phone back down. Ghost narrowed his eyes, trying to read Toast's face. Toast had a straight face. Ghost sighed, backing off a bit. He's lying... Ghost thought.

Aww Ghosty he's scared of you! Jimmy giggled.

No he's not, he's scared of you! Ghost argued.

I'm not the one who tried to grab something from him. I also didn't growl at him! Jimmy reasoned, trying not to laugh. Ghost could almost feel Jimmy's sly smile.

That's true... Ghost sighed.

Don't you think that's a little funny? Jimmy asked, giggling a bit. Ghost couldn't keep himself from smiling.

Yeah... Ghost giggled. He then realized he agreed with Jimmy. He slapped himself as hard as he could.

"Why did you do that Sir?" Toast questioned.

"Because I can." Ghost told him. He saw a look of hurt flash on Toast's face.

"I'm sorry Johnny... " Ghost sighed, reaching up and patting Toast on the shoulder.

"It's fine Sir, I know you didn't mean it that way." Toast reassured him, giving him a little smile. Ghost nodded.

"Who was it really, on the phone." Ghost asked. Toast looked away.

"I won't be mad." Ghost told him.

"Ok. It was that man from earlier. He was apologizing for how he behaved. He said something just came over him." Toast explained. Ghost nodded.

"Interesting..." Ghost exclaimed. He gave it some thought, when suddenly someone knocked on the door. The two exchanged a glance.

"Should we open it?" Toast asked.

"No." Ghost mumbled to him. He stood on his toes so he could look out the small hole in the door. There was no one there, but he knew it was probably a entity of some sort. He backed up.

"There's no one there, at least within my range of sight." Ghost told Toast, motioning towards the door. Toast walked over and peaked. He turned back towards Ghost.

"I didn't see anyone either." Toast sighed. The two waited, and waited, but nothing happened. They both just sat down and rested. All was silent.
