(Didn't know what to name this chapter ugh)
Ghost led Jimmy down the stairs, his questions filling his brain to maximum capacity.
"Where are you taking me?" Jimmy questioned. Ghost glanced back at him, realizing Jimmy was back in his adult form.
"Somewhere." Ghost mumbled, looking away. He walked over to the couch, sitting down. He pointed. Jimmy sat next to him.
"Ok. What's going on?" Jimmy asked, frowning. Ghost could hear the confusion in his voice, which was accompanied by a hint of anticipation.
"I just have a few questions I know you have the answers for." Ghost told him, trying to sound as calm as possible, despite him being extremely anxious to hear the answers. Jimmy gave him a questioning look.
"Questions...um... ok." Jimmy sighed as he began to prepare himself for the worst.
"Ok! First question that I've probably already asked but I want to ask again! So, you have a twin brother named Gregory, right? Is he still alive?" Ghost began.
"Yes." Jimmy mumbled, nodding.
"Alright... does he live around here?" Ghost questioned. Jimmy nodded once more.
"Yep. Not very far away, either." Jimmy sighed. Ghost's eyes widened.
"But you never go visit him!" Ghost exclaimed, frowning. Jimmy sighed, giving him a sad smile.
"He wouldn't recognize me, I'm sure. Well, not in the way I would hope... more like in the way everyone knows me." Jimmy told him, his smile becoming even more somber.
"Why not?" Ghost questioned. Jimmy sighed.
"Ok... something happened when we were younger, and the idiot got his memory wiped. But it wasn't my fault! I didn't do anything to make him want to do it either, although I highly doubt he wanted his memories erased..." Jimmy explained, trailing off at the end as a few of his worst memories flashed through his mind.
"I see... so you remember everything that happened and he remembers none of it?" Ghost asked. His mind was racing.
"That's right... I remember everything..." Jimmy mumbed. He seemed to be in deep thought. Ghost found this intriguing. Very intriguing.
"Ok... I have one last question for now, alright?" Ghost told Jimmy softly. He nodded. Ghost was a bit hesitant to ask the question. Jimmy noticed this hesitation, his murderous side taking over for a split second.
"What? Are you scared?! You should be!!!" Jimmy exclaimed, pulling out his knife. Ghost stared at him, the color draining from his face.
"A-are you ok?" Ghost questioned, fear clouding his emotions. Jimmy realized what he was doing, immediately regretting it.
"Oh crap... y-yeah. I'm fine. Sorry..." Jimmy mumbled, putting his knife away. Ghost smiled, letting out a sigh of relief.
"It's ok. So, my last question for now is... well... would you be willing to tell me how Gregory got his memory erased, and by who/what?" Ghost asked. Jimmy's expression darkened.
"I can't tell you." Jimmy told him sternly. Ghost was surprised by the serious tone Jimmy was using.
"Why not?" Ghost questioned. Jimmy's seriousness seemed to fade into mischief.
"Well, heck! What's the point of a secret if you can't keep it?" Jimmy giggled, smiling. Ghost was just about to say something when the two heard Toast coming down the stairs.
"Are you two down here?" Toast called with a questioning tone.
"Yep! We're on the couch!" Ghost called back. The two watched as Toast slowly came down the stairs and over to the couch.
"What were you two doing?" Toast questioned, frowning.
"Nothing important Toaster!" Jimmy exclaimed, giggling.
"I was just asking him a few questions, Johnny. That's all." Ghost told him, smiling. Toast nodded, a small grin appearing on his face. He seemed to be happy. Ghost figured it was because they weren't planning to kill him or something like that, especially after those dreams they had. Toast still seemed to be a bit anxious because of it.
"I see... alright! I'm glad it wasn't anything serious!" Toast exclaimed, smiling happily. They both returned the smile, although Jimmy's was a bit creepier.
"So, what do you guys want to do?"Jimmy asked, his hand resting on the handle of his knife. Toast shrugged.
"Watch TV?" Ghost suggested. Toast, nodded sitting down on the floor in front of the two. Jimmy grabbed the remote and threw it at Ghost.
"Why'd you throw it?!" Ghost questioned, frowning. Jimmy shrugged. Toast sighed. He had no idea what was going on.
