While Michael and I were being driven back to L.A. from (sadly) a different Uber driver than yesterday evening, we decided to go out for lunch, as friends of course, after showering and changing clothes.

"Are you sure you're alright?" Michael asked concerned as the driver stopped at my address.

"Yeah, I just need a shower to get the feeling of that guys' hands off my body." I shuddered.

"Okay, I'll see you in an hour then." he smiled and side hugged me before I left the car.

Exactly one hour later I entered the restaurant Michael and I had agreed on to meet up at.

Which was obviously McDonald's.

As I looked around, I couldn't find Michael anywhere so I decided to make my order already. After I'd received everything I wanted, I chose a table in a corner and sat down, starting to eat my fries.

About two minutes later, I saw Michael walking through the entrance and he spotted me right away, shooting me a quick smile and walking over to the counter to order his food.

"Sorry for being late, I wanted to make sure no paps were following me after I left the hotel." he apologised as he sat down on the other side of the table with his food.

"Don't worry, you haven't missed much anyway." I smiled and took a bite of one of my chicken nuggets.

"I'm glad you're so chill about this. All the girls I hung out with before, stopped being in contact with me because of little reasons like this." he giggled and started eating as well.

"Well, I can imagine how hard it is to constantly be followed by cameras and how stressed your life is and I'd do anything to make you forget that kind of life for a bit." I smiled again.

"You're so cute, how are you still single?" he fake frowned before shoving a fry into his mouth.

"I don't know, I'm asking myself that question every day." I joked and sighed to make it more dramatic, which caused Michael to laugh so I laughed along.

After I'd eaten my last nugget, I opened my bottle of coke and took a big sip before closing the bottle again and setting it back down on the table.

"Share a kiss with Michael, huh?" Michael smirked as he looked from my bottle to me.

I was confused at first but as I looked at the bottle, I knew what he meant. But I had this strange feeling that I'd already been through this once. It was like a déjà vu.

Flashback

"Share a kiss with Michael, huh?" the guy looked at my bottle and smiled at me shyly afterwards. I didn't know what he was trying to say so I probably looked really confused.

"Uhh.. my name is Michael." he chuckled and scratched the back of his neck.

"Oh.", I giggled awkwardly, "I guess this is what people call fate."

"I guess." he giggled.

"I'm Beth by the way."

"I'm Michael."

"Yeah I know." I giggled.

---

"Is everything alright?" Michael asked, breaking me out of my little memory.

"Uh, yeah, I just thought of a similar situation that happened a few years ago." I smiled a bit embarrassed.

"Tell me about it." he said, seeming to be very interested.

"Back in Australia I met a guy named Michael in a club and we met because of a coke bottle with the same sentence on it as this one and I actually had my first kiss with that guy." I giggled.

"Wait, oh my god, you're from Australia?"

"Yeah..?" I said confused. I thought he knew that?

"Where did it happen? Was the club named Sydney's Stars?"

What??¿

"Yes but how do- oh my god."

"I can't believe this..."

"You were my first kiss?" I asked shocked.

"And you were mine...wow."

"How did we not realise that earlier?"

"I somehow thought you looked familiar when we did our first interview but I never thought you'd be the Beth from that club."

"I knew there was something special about your smile but I just kept that in the back of my head, to be honest."

"I had such a huge crush on you back then. I couldn't stop thinking about the kiss for weeks and I was sad because I knew I'd probably never see you again." Michael admitted.

"Same here. My mom didn't know what to do because I hid in my room all day after school days. I didn't want to tell anyone about the kiss." I giggled.

"Why did you never come back to the club? I was there every weekend after the kiss, hoping to see you again."

"I don't know, I guess I was scared because I'd never felt like this for a guy before, you were like my first crush." I shrugged.

"And you were mine." Michael smiled slightly at me and I felt some kind of tickling in my stomach.

"Oh my god, Mikey is over there." we suddenly heard a girl from a bit away so I turned my gaze from Michael and looked into the direction of the voice, where a small of girls was standing.

They all looked like they were about to cry or scream. Or both.

"Go over to them and make them happy. I can get home myself." I smiled at Michael and motioned into the direction of the girls before standing up.

"Are you sure?" Michael asked unsure, standing up as well.

"100 percent." I smiled again.

"You're an angel." Michael smiled, quickly pecked the top of my head and made his way over to the girls.

The girls all shot me either a smile or a judging look but I ignored it and just left and headed home.

Well, that was one eventful lunch.
