•Y/N POV•

The school bells finally rang after 1 hour and a half of science.

Luckily this was the last lesson.

As I was carelessly putting books in my bag I was greeted by that familiar face.

"What do you need?" I asked Caspar.

"Um. The assignment? My house or yours?" He said while scratching the back of his neck.

"Uh. Let's go to yours, my family is a bit... Uh- weird." I stuttered.

"Okay, wanna go now?"

"Sure."

I put my bag on my shoulder and walked out the room with Caspar.

We were walking down the corridor and boys and girls were staring at me and Caspar.

Mostly me though.

"Y/N! Y/N!" I heard someone call.

Caspar turned around and looked at me wide eyed.

I turned and saw Craig Malin... Again.

"Go ahead Caspar. I'll meet you at the car." I whispered.

I approached Craig with tiny steps until I finally got to him face to face.

"What's up?" I asked.

"Why you going out with that loser?" He questioned.

"We're doing a assignment for science you idiot. Maybe you should do that with your partner too." I retorted.

A little crowd started to form around us, I started to get uncomfortable.

Craig just kept on eyeing my lips then my eyes.

He started to lean in and my first instinct was to put my hands out, so I did.

I pushed his chest and he stumbled backwards.

He looked at me with shock, confusion, humiliation and anger in his eyes.

"I never asked you to kiss me."

I started to walked to the exit and saw Caspar leaning on his car while playing on his phone.

"Let's go." I said while getting in his car.

He hopped in the other side and started the car.

After a few minutes, we actually found out a couple of things about each other.

We like the same music, colour and food. He parked his car and we both hopped out.

"Caspar? Did you know that I only live like two houses down?" I asked while looking at my house from his.

"Yeah I did. You didn't." He said.

"Oh. Okay, let's go in." I awkwardly said.

He leaded us in and opened the house door.

"ANYONE HOME?" He yelled.

No reply.

He lead us to a room which I guess was his room and sat down on his bed.

He patted a seat next to him so I walked over and sat down.

"So. What was this assignment about?" I asked.

"Wow you never pay attention do you? You could be a really smart girl but you throw away your grades for popularity?" He said.

"What do you care? You've only gotten to know me today."

"Your a beautiful girl with great potential but you throw it away for popularity. Guess what? It's not going to last forever. What's gonna happen when you get out of school. Popularity won't do anything for you." He said.

After his little speech I realised he was right.

"Thank you." I whispered.

"For what?"

"For making me realise what I want with my life, and that popularity doesn't help me in the future." I said.

"It's okay. Can I say something to you?" He asked.

"Sure. What is it?"

"I love you. So much that I think I'm in love with you." He said while taking my hands in his.

"Well I love you too."
