Dead Blood Episode 5 - No Going Back

Chapter 3 - Deep Breath

Charles could see there was a lake in front of him, he was extremely confused at first but realised that it was the end of the road. Charles tried to stop the lorry before he hit the lake but it was too late,
"HOLD ON!" He yelled to the others, the lorry drove straight into the lake and they sunk to the bottom in seconds,
"The waters going to get through any minute!" Carlos panicked.

The others were at the front of the lorry's storage as the lorry was facing downwards,
"We're still moving slowly" Daisy said as she got up,
"I think we're underwater" Rebekah told them and she said that the back door fling open and the water began to come inside, soon the storage was full of water and everyone was swimming inside of it. Cam swam towards the door and he tried to open undo the lock, it wouldn't open and so he started kicking it aggressively, Daisy came over and also tried to kick the door down, everyone was on their last breath and no one could get out. Suddenly the door opened from the other side and Cam saw Carlos in front of him, they did not waste time and they began swimming up to the top. Once Cam made up he looked around to check who was okay and who was still under water.
"Okay so we've got, Lizzie, Luke, Rebekah, Carlos, Charles and James" Cam said swimming above the water, he then realised that he could not see Daisy, he dived back in and he swam to the lorry, he went inside and at the bottom he saw Daisy floating around. He brought her back up,
"Everyone get to the path!" He shouted, Luke swam over to help Cam carry Daisy. Everyone swam to where the lorry came flying off the road and Cam put Daisy down in front of him,
"Is she breathing?" Rebekah asked,
"No" Cam replied, he then put both hands on her chest and started pushing down attempting CPR, he tried to give her air and nothing was happening but he kept trying,
"Cam I thinks she's gone" Luke told him,
"If she's dead then we've..." James said but as he was about to finish Daisy sat up and started coughing up water,
"Thank god" Cam said in delight,
"That was lucky" Daisy said,
"What actually happened Charles?" Rebekah asked,
"I couldn't see anything in the dark and I only saw the lake at the last minute" Charles replied,
"This isn't a lake, this is the ocean" Cam told him as he stared at the water,
"Holy shit" James said turning around,
"Carlos, this is where we found you" Rebekah said,
"This means that the boat should be here" James told him,
"It could be but I wouldn't go around here at night" Carlos told them. Cam saw Lizzie look at him in when they were speaking,
"No, I can't go, I've got to find Hannah" Cam told them,
"How do you know she's alive?" Luke asked,
"I don't, but we're not leaving anyone behind, you can go but I've got to find the baby" Cam replied,
"Well anyone who wants to go on the boat tomorrow stand by me" Luke told everyone, no one moved but instead they all went over to Cam, "very well then" Luke said.

They walked over to a near by house and they tried to find a way in,
"What about the back door?" Rebekah suggested,
"I'll go and look" Cam said, he climbed over a fence which led him to the back door, he tried to open it and strangely it open straight away, Cam got out his revolver and he went inside. He searched for the front door so he could let the others in, he went round a corner and he saw the door with keys hung up next to it. He went over and grabbed the keys and opened the door.
"Brilliant Cam!" Luke said in delight, once they were all in Cam got half of the group to go upstairs and the other half to stay downstairs,
"I can hear something up here" Cam said whilst walking up the stairs, he had Daisy, James and Charles behind him.
"What can you hear?" Daisy asked,
"Voices" Cam replied, they walked up the stairs quietly and once they got up Cam went over to the room he could hear the voices from,
"On the count of three we all go in and point our guns" he whispered, "one....two.....three" mashed open the door only to meet the end of a gun, the bullet was fired and Cam tried to react but the bullet went straight into his head...
