Dead Blood Episode 5 - No Going Back

Chapter 4 - Surrounded

The bullet went through Cam and Daisy just managed to dodge the shot then Cam fell straight to the floor and Daisy ran and punched the man he too fell to the floor and Daisy then picked up Cam's revolver and she pointed it at the man,
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry please don't kill me, I was just trying to protect myself" the man said,
"Where are the others?" Daisy asked,
"I'm on my own" the man replied,
"Guessing you were just talking to yourself then?" Daisy asked,
"Yes I was planning on what to do" he replied,
"I'm not buying the act" Daisy told him,
"Daisy he's not breathing, we need to bring him back or he's going to turn" Rebekah said crying over Cam,
"There's no need it was in the head" Daisy told her,
"What the hell has happened?" Luke asked running up the stairs,
"Cam's been killed by this man" Daisy replied, Luke came round the corner and he saw Cam on the floor with blood coming out the side of his head and Luke then got his gun out and shot the man with no hesitation.
"Who was he?" Luke asked,
"He said he was trying to protect himself" Daisy told him,
"Can we worry about Cam?" Rebekah asked,
"Okay, let me check him" Luke replied, he crouched down beside Cam and looked at the bullet hold, "the bullet went into the side of his head, his ear is gone but it didn't destroy his brain" Luke explained,
"Can you help him?" Daisy asked,
"I can try" Luke replied, he began CPR on Cam, he kept going and he never gave up, suddenly Cam's eyes open and he took a deep breath in,
"What the hell happened?" He asked,
"You were shot, you've lost your ear but your head is okay" Luke replied,
"Do you feel dizzy?" Daisy asked,
"No I'm good, although there is a lot of blood and I need a bandage" Cam told her,
"I've got one, it was in a draw downstairs" Lizzie said, she began to wrap the bandage round his head covering his ear,
"Thank you" Cam said,
"There's a whole herd coming towards the house" Rebekah said whilst looking out the window,
"They must have heard the gun shot" Daisy said,
"We've got to hold them off" Cam told them,
"Well we can't go anywhere now" Rebekah said,
"Okay, everyone downstairs and if we need to pull back then we head upstairs" Cam explained,
"Make sure the door is fully locked and stay away from the Windows" Luke said.

"What's happened?" Carlos asked looking very confused as everyone came down the stairs,
"Cam was attacked and now there's a herd of walkers coming towards us" Luke replied,
"Looking at your head Cam I'm guessing it was a close shot" Carlos said to Cam,
"You're right, it should have killed me" Cam told Carlos,
"Everyone get your guns out" Luke said. Everyone went quite they could hear the walkers groaning outside suddenly they heard a window smash from behind them, they all turned around and they saw a walker climbing through the window,
"They're here, I've got this one!" Cam shouted to them, he walked up to the walker and he shot it with his revolver, the Windows started breaking from all across the house,
"Get into a circle and we'll get hold them off together!" Cam told them, they began killing but the circle kept getting smaller and smaller,
"There's too many of them!" James yelled,
"Try and get to the stairs!" Cam told them, they slowly moved up to the stairs, everyone was up but suddenly A walker grabbed Lizzie's leg as she was running up, Cam ran down to help her. She was screaming,
"Don't let go, please" She told him, Cam was trying very hard to pull her away from the walkers, but they sunk their teeth into her leg and Cam gave it one last pull and the walkers let go, she limped upstairs with Cam helping her,
"Luke shut that door once everyone's in" Cam told him as he went into a room with Lizzie, Cam put her down on a table and he then took his belt off and strapped round Lizzie's leg,
"Rebekah I need your hatchet" Cam said to her, she handed it over and Cam lifted the hatchet above his head and smashed down onto Lizzie's leg, it didn't come lose so he tried again and then for a final time and the leg came lose from her,
"She's fainted" Rebekah told Cam,
"We need towels, a lot of them" Cam said to everyone,
"Lizzie had some in her bag" Luke said, he ran over and took three towels to Cam,
"Thank you" Cam said, he pressed hard on Lizzie's wound,
"Daisy how far is it down from that window?" Cam asked looking at a window in a corner of the room,
"Too far to jump" Daisy replied whilst looking down outside of it,
"I don't think we have a choice" Cam told her,
"If we take all the curtains from the windows we might be able to climb down" Daisy suggested,
"Okay try it" Cam told her, Daisy tied the curtains together and she dropped it outside the window,
"Okay, everyone go down" Daisy said, one by one everyone went down until it was just Daisy, Cam and Lizzie in the room,
"Okay you go" Cam said to Daisy, she then climbed down,
"I won't be able to get Lizzie out!" Cam shouted down to them, "I'll find my own way out!" Cam said, he looked through the key hole of the door and saw that the walkers now owned the upstairs of the house, he picked up Lizzie he opened the door. The walkers saw him and he tried to run through them, Lizzie was covered in blood now and suddenly Cam fell down the stairs hitting all the walkers as he went down, once he was down he could not find Lizzie, he ran to the front door and he saw Rebekah and Daisy standing there. They couldn't through as there were walkers in the way, Cam was surrounded by walkers coming towards him, he got his revolver and started shooting them all, they were pushing him back until he fell back onto a couch and the walkers jumped on top of him.
"Cam!" Rebekah yelled.
