Dead Blood Episode 5 - No Going Back

Chapter 11 - The Prison

"She left because we were going to confront that group" James said,
"Did she say where she was going" Cam asked,
"To find gas" James replied,
"She may have gone to the prison, we have all our supplies there" Lizzie told them,
"Why are they still there?" Cam asked,
"When we were attacked we had to leave quickly because the walkers got in but out stuff is still there because all of the bad guys died" Mika replied,
"Can you take us to the prison?" Cam asked,
"Yes it's not too far away" Lizzie told him.

The group set off and began looking for Daisy,
"How was the battle?" Lizzie asked Cam while walking,
"We won, just, we lost people including my eye as you can see" Cam told her,
"It looks painful" Lizzie said,
"It was but now the only pain is not seeing what's on my right" Cam said while smiling,
"Are you looking after us now then?" Mika asked running ahead, Cam stopped and crouched down to their heights,
"I made your father a promise that I would look after you if anything happened to me, your father was a good man and I keep my promises to people like him" Cam told them both,
"Thank you" Mika said.

"That's it, that's the prison" Lizzie told the group pointing through a gap in the trees,
"Is it safe?" James asked,
"There's only walkers now" Lizzie replied,
"Let's go" Cam said. They made there way through the trees and came to the walls of the prison, they saw that the field was surrounded with walkers,
"Form a circle and we'll take them out together" Cam said, the group formed a circle while Lizzie and Mika stood in the middle,
"Blades only" Cam told them. They moved inside killing the walkers that got to theme car they had reached the top of the field Cam found a tank which had been blown up from the inside he jumped on top and went inside,
"I can't see nothing but smoke in here!" He shouted as he got out of the tank,
"There won't be any walkers inside" Lizzie told them,
"Okay let's go" Cam said. They moved to the door and Cam hit his shoulder into the door and it opened.

Once they were inside Cam got out his revolver and moved closer in,
"It's quiet" James said,
"Yeah, a little too quiet" Cam told him, they moved further inside until they came to a cell block,
"This is the one we were in" Lizzie said,
"What about the people you were with?" Cam asked,
"This way" Lizzie replied, they followed her across the room until they came to another cell block,
"There's weapons" Cam said in delight,
"It's about time stuff goes our way" Carlos said,
"Don't move!" A woman's voice said from behind them, Cam turned around and straight away the woman put her gun down,
"Thank god" Daisy said as she ran over to them, she hugged Cam,
"Are you okay?" Cam asked,
"Yeah fine, I came here to find fuel but it looks like I've found some weapons instead, wait Lizzie and Mika" Daisy said very confused,
"They we under the bridge before you left remember, they found a new group but also lost their Dad" James told her,
"Now that we're safe, I was thinking that this cell block is secure for us to sleep in for a couple of nights" Cam said,
"You're right, just for a couple of days and then we'll leave" James said,
"Before we sleep tonight we should clear out the court yard" Daisy said.

Cam woke up the next morning from his cell and walked outside the cell block, he splashed his face with some water which looked to be fresh inside a bucket, he went outside to the court yard which was now cleared and secured, he looked around the corner and dropped his gun in shock, Cam had never seen anything like it before, there he saw Lizzie standing over Mika who was lying on the floor, Lizzie was holding a knife which had blood dripping from it....
