Dead Blood Episode 5 - No Going Back

Chapter 8 - Final Stand

Cam ran outside and began shooting with his revolver, he then picked up an ak47 from one of Hades' men and he fired at them all. He managed to kill about five people with one clip of the gun. He noticed that walkers were beginning to enter the camp,
"Cam stay back!" Daisy shouted to him, Cam saw Luke firing at a bunch of walkers, he looked at Cam,
"Where's Rebekah?" He yelled to him,
"She's dead!" Cam shouted back,
Luke pointed his gun at Cam,
"It's your fault, the group would've been fine if they didn't want to come back and find you" Luke told him, Cam did not move but suddenly a bucket came flying past Cam and into Luke's arm, Luke lost aim and accidentally took a shot. Behind Cam was Daisy, Cam turned around and looked at her blood was pouring out of his eye and Daisy realised that the bullet Luke shot hit Cam in the face on the other side from his ear,
"Daisy?" He asked, he then fell forward,
"No!" Daisy cried, she picked him up and she ran into the tent.

Hades stormed through the camp killing anyone in his way with a pistol,
"Cam!" He yelled, suddenly he saw Luke on the floor in pain,
"Where's Cam?" Hades asked, Luke didn't answer so he kicked Luke aggressively,
"He's dead" Luke told him in agony,
"Thank you" Hades said and he lifted up his weapon and slammed it down on Luke's face and his head was crushed straight away.

Daisy ran outside the tent, "anyone a doctor!" she asked,
"I am" a woman said, she ran over and went inside the tent,
"Gunshot?" The woman asked,
"Pistol at close range" Daisy replied, suddenly Cam woke up and sat up,
"What happened?" He asked,
"You were shot, you've lost your eye" Daisy told him, he stood up and he ran outside with blood pouring from his face.

He ran outside and saw Hades kill Luke, he got his revolver out and he pointed it at Hades,
"What the fuck happened to you?" Hades asked,
"Unlucky shot for someone" Cam replied,
"How about this one?" Hades asked again,
"I won't miss" Cam told him and then he took a shot and it hit Hades straight in the head Cam felt the whole earth shake as Hades fell to the ground.
"Finish them off!" Cam shouted to everyone, they all pushed Hade's men back until they pinned five of them against a wall.

Cam walked over to them, he looked at one of them,
"If you let us go, we will leave be never come back, you will never see us again I promise" he said,
"But you'll go and attack the next group who looks weaker than you" Cam told him,
"With the majority off us dead now, I don't think we can face anyone" the man told him,
"Well I guess you were messing with the wrong people" Cam said, "besides we're not gonna let you get away with this" Cam added he then got out a machete and struck the guy in the top of the head with it, the guy fell to the ground and Cam kept slicing him, Daisy, James, Charles and Carlos all started killing one of Hades' men each.

Cam sat on the edge of the wall from a look out, Daisy came and sat next to him,
"I'm sorry" Daisy told him,
"So am, when I first met you, you didn't have to come with me and now you've been through probably more than you had ever done" Cam told her,
"It was boring before I met you anyway" Daisy said,
"I guess people just don't like the look of me then" Cam laughed,
"I don't know but now a guy with a shot out eye wouldn't really make a good first impression anyway" Daisy said smiling,
"I think I need stitches" Cam said,
"And new clothes, the blood from your eye is everywhere" Daisy told him, Cam stood up and he went over to a tent.

"Now can I take a look at your eye?" the woman asked,
"Yes, but don't you think I should be asleep before you do any stitches around there?" Cam asked her, but then Daisy got her gun out and smacked him round the back of the head,
"Do it quickly before he gets up" Daisy told her. Daisy went outside to where people were digging holes for the lost.

"What are you doing?" Daisy asked in concern,
"Burying Luke" James replied,
"He tried to kill Cam, he should have done it if it wasn't for me taking a shot at him" Daisy told him,
"What do you want me to do?" James asked,
"Burn Luke's body and wait until Cam gets up to bury Rebekah" Daisy told him.
"Are we staying here?" Carlos asked Daisy,
"I don't think so, we've got rid of the threat here and now these people can lie in peace" Daisy replied,
"But these people can fight, they know this world just as much as we do so if there are threats then we will be able to take it out" Charles pointed out,
"I'll leave it with Cam when he wakes up" Daisy told him...
