"Can't you cancel your date?" Sierra asks bluntly.

"Of course not! This is my first date!"

"With Kyle... or in general?" Her eyes widen when I shake my head. "You've never been on a date?! But you're so pretty!"

"Pretty? I'm just another girl who blends with the crowd."

"Is that seriously what you think of yourself?"

"..."

"Kristen! You are seriously beautiful. Ok? In fact, multiple guys have come up to me this week and asked for your number."

"Really?" I ask sarcastically.

"I kept telling them you have a boyfriend."

"Oh. I don't think Kyle and I are officially..."

"What?"

"I don't think we are official."

"Seriously? You guys are always together though. And I'm pretty sure you've done more than talk."

"Hey!"

"Are you a virgin?" She whispers and giggles hysterically.

"Of course I am!"

"Not for long." She winks and then nudges me.

"Shut up."

"Anyways. Just call him and cancel your date."

"I can't!"

"Fine then! Just keep in contact and I can do the plan by myself. "

"Can you?"

"Of course I can. I'm capable of anything."

"Your confidence eludes me."

"Your big words 'elude' me." She crosses her arms. "What does elude even mean?"

"To be honest... I'm not even sure I'm using it right. It was in my exam."

"Well, you aced it so... Back on topic. I'll catch Chase and make sure Harmony sees it. Does it have to be live or can I record it and send it to her?"

"Whatever, as long as she sees it and believes it."

"Do you give me permission to tell Josh?"

"Absolutely. Couples shouldn't hide things from each other."

"Are you saying that as a hint?"

"No?"

"You didn't tell him about Mr. Brior did you?"

"Of course not. You can trust me Sierra."

"Good. Because if you did... you'd have to watch you back." She says leaning in and giving me a dirty look.

"Umm... ok?"

"I'm just kidding." She laughs but I feel like there is truth behind her words.

Sierra and I walk through the hallway during the final afternoon classes. We haven't really left each other's sides. We keep huddling and whispering and nervously thinking if the plan is going to work. Actually, I think I'm the only nervous one.

Then she nudges me in the ribs and I squeak. She points, not very subtly, at Chase. And in turn, he stares at me. Thankfully, he doesn't look suspicious. "Krissy!"

"Uhh... Hi Chase."

"Look, I know things with you and Harmony aren't that good right now. But I want to let you know, she always talked about you. And she always worried she was gonna ruin your friendship. I'm the one that convinced her not to tell you."
