My protective brothers

I hang up the phone feeling numb I am unable to move. I sit there motionless for about an hour and then finally will myself to slowly get up off of the bathroom floor. I walk out of the bathroom and see Jake sitting on the couch watching T.V.

"Hey um can we talk?" I ask.

"Yeah of course." He says pausing the T.V.

"Okay this is hard to explain and I can't tell you everything but I can tell you the majority of it." I say.

"Go ahead." He says.

I take a deep breath.

" When I was 12 my mother and father were killed and I turned to things I shouldn't I got involved In a gang and I fell in love with the leader and my brothers didn't like him so I kept it a secret but I loved him and I thought he would never hurt me but he did and He would constantly take advantage of me and one day I told him I couldn't do it anymore so he beat me and droped me off inn an aley and my brothers found me. This guy left and I havent seen or hurd of him 2 years but today when you took me to the mall today I saw him." I say crying and shaking.

Jakes face stays emotonless. He pulls me close to him and kisses the top of my head.

"Theres more but I'm not ready yet." I say.

"It's fine take all the time you need." He says.

"Thanks." I say.

"So about this guy Is back?" He asks.

"Yup."

"So what do we need to do?" he asks.

"Well normally we need to have a plan in case I get captured but I asume my brothers are already on that so if I do get captured you just need to call and tel them. As for me it is very helpful that you helped and baught me close and I just need to keed my gun on me at all times." I say.

"What gun?" He asks.

I reach for my back and grab out my gun. Pulling it out and showing him.

"How long have you had that?" He asks.

"Since I was 11." I say.

"11? Is there something wrong with your brothers?" He asks.

"They just want me to be safe." I say.

"Okay well I am starving what should we eat?" He ask.

"Pizza."

"Okay Ill order go take a shower and cool off."

So thats what I do I take a shower and then eat pizza with Jake and I fall asleep with him holding me tight.
