Bella P.O.V

I walk in Starbucks and make my order. Thank God there's not much people here, I really could use the silence this place sometimes offers. I tried to make Edward less angry at me, which didn't entirely work but I managed to convince him I'll be texting him 24/7 so he could be sure I wouldn't be in any sort of danger.

That made him 20% less angry than what he actually was. That's something, I guess.

I take my usual table at Starbucks and stare out the window, looking at the always busy street with people walking from one side to another.

"Hello, there, Bella." I turn to look at Simon standing there with an elegant suit on like always he smiles at me and offers me his hand. "Taking a break off work?" He asked.

"Yeah," I answered. "I won't be having that for the next couple of days."

"May I sit down?" He asked. I nodded. He took a seat in front of me and said, "I notice you come here often but we never had an actual conversation."

I nod. "Noticed that, too. So you're a lawyer, right?"

He nods. "That's right."

"What exactly for?"

"Oh, you know. This and that, I help with divorce and sometimes I help with crime, it's never set for me," he said. "You work?"

I nod. "As a PA. I'm actually taking a small break before we head to Los Angeles."

"You're going to Los Angeles? That's great," he said, before taking a sip off his coffee. "It's a lovely place. I got there every other weekend."

"It's actually my first time," I reply. "Kinda excited."

He nods. "I can imagine. What is this trip for?"

"My boss has a convention or something to go to in Los Angeles and, well, me and her driver are going to have to go with her on this trip."

He frowned. "Weren't you a assistant editor for Mr. Newton?" He asked.

I tried to hold back the sadness of hearing Mr. Newton's name, it's still too soon to talk about it.

"Yes, I was but I mean, something is something, isn't?" I replied. He smiled and nodded. "What's the name of the law firm you work for?" I ask.

"DuBois Cary Law Group and well, you're looking at the guy who runs this place," he said with pride.

"That's amazing, so you run the law firm?"

"Exactly. It's all Simon says, you see. Simon says, new job." He snaps his fingers. "Simon says, new car." He snaps his fingers again. "Simon says, beautiful wife." He snaps his fingers. "Simons says, amazing children." He snaps his fingers one last time. "Just telling you, Bella, if you ever need anything. Simon says is here."

I laugh at his comment. "I'll keep that in mind, Simon." I would really consider it, taking in mind that I hate my job. "Well, it was nice to see you but I have to get going."

He stands up. "Of course. Have a nice trip, Bella and it was really nice seeing you." We shook hands and took off. I couldn't help to notice the familiarity of his car, that's when I realize it's the same car Ms. Henderson went off in yesterday after work.

I swallow, looking down at the oath before me. I can feel the anxiety but I shake it off, taking a deep breath. Nothing wrong is happening, it's just a coincidence. It's over. It's over and it won't happen again.

As I walked my way back to the office, my phone vibrated in my pocket. I answered without having to look at the caller ID.

"I haven't even left yet and you already miss me?" I asked with a smile.
