We went to visit my mother the next morning and she was asleep so we didn't stay long. We figured we would come back later today. It was near 80 out and too nice to stay inside all day. It made me upset that she had to be stuck in this bed on a day like this. I left fighting a few tears but Harry did his best to distract me. We ended up going to the beach since we came near it when we walked around. It was a quiet beach, Mikey would bring me here sometimes. Him and Harry were quiet around each other now. It was really awkward. So Harry said he wanted to get out of the apartment.

I sat a few feet away from the tide and Harry laid next to me, leaned back on his elbows, shirt unbuttoned, revealing his already tan stomach to the sun. I was tan from working in the sun everyday, I never get incredibly tan like him right now but don't worry about it. I just burn and look ugly.

I did happen to glance over at his exposed torso and begin thinking back to how he's got more definition and wondered what he's been doing. He caught me looking but I wasn't embarrassed about it. "Have you been working out?" I ask him and he shrugs. "Kind of." he answers and I raise an eyebrow. "How do you kind of work out?" I ask and he laughs under his breath. "During the first month without you, Alex told me to get my anger under control because I was snapping on too many of the crew that traveled with me so I started working with a trainer whenever I got mad." he explains and I look back down at his chest and arms. "So did you get mad a lot?" I ask straight forwardly and he laughs again. "Is it noticeable?" he asks and I shoot him a look that only made him grow that cheeky grin.

"I'm not answering that." I say looking back at the tide and he starts laughing out loud. "Is that a yes?" he asks, leaning over to one side to pull me over. "No." I lie and he managed to trap me in his long arms. I wanted to pluck his sun glasses off his face if I had my arms back. "Then why'd you ask?" he asks with a devious smirk and I roll my eyes. "Am I allowed to ask things?" I ask and he smirks. "But questions are inspired by thought." he says and I give him a funny look. "What, did you study philosophy when I was gone too?" I ask and he starts laughing.

"Cute." he kisses my cheek and I fuss around to try to break his grip but it didn't work. "Harry." I groan and he laughs at my struggle, and smirks even bigger when he starts tickling me, while being stuck. I shrieked and thrashed harder until I ended up getting my feet underneath me and bringing myself on my knees. "Harry, I'm gonna kill you. I swear." I say seriously.

"Really? I find that hard to believe through all that giggling." he teases and I slip away from him but end up falling on my ass like the graceful elephant I am. He cracks up and hovers over me for a moment, I brace my stomach so he couldn't get to me but instead he tilts his head to the side and parts my lips with precision. He ends up laughing into the kiss when he went to shift his weight to his knees and I braced because I thought he was going to tickle me again. He pulled away when we heard cameras clicking again.

He glanced up at them but tried to ignore them. His hair hung over his forehead and the sun was blacked by it making him look even more picture perfect. I reach up and took off his sun glasses. "You know, the longer hair is actually growing on me." I comment and he smirks before shaking his hair over his face. "Told you it gives you more to pull." he says through his smirk and I laugh before reaching up and moving the hair away from his eyes.

"You're disgusting Harry." I tell him and he shrugs. "But you like it, so I'm staying that way." he answers and kisses my nose.

When we went home, Mikey was on the couch and he didn't bother to look up at us. "I'll be in the room." he whispers in my ear and departs from me and I walk across the room to join him. He was just scrolling through his Twitter which meant he was really just bored and wasting time. "Hey." I say and rest my cheek on his arm. "So... are you planning on getting back together soon?" He asks and I pull my cheek away. This is what I've been trying to avoid with him. He really doesn't like me with him but I know he's trying to get over it. "I don't know." I answer quietly. "He's really a good person, Mikey. I wish you'd see that." I tell him.
