#2 Dear Journal,
Having the Matthews accept me was the best feeling ever. It's nice to know someone cares.
My father hit me yesterday, several times. He wasn't feeling good I guess. And while he was doing it, my mother kept saying that "she didn't raise a son" and I am just really confused. I can't change who I am. Please tell me you understand? Oh who am I kidding, I am the only one who reads this... I hope. I wanna tell Lucas Friar and Farkle Mincus on Monday. I hope it goes well. By the way, if Riley was straight, does that mean she'd date me now? There is this dance coming up and I really wanna ask her to go.
My face and arms still hurt from being hit yesterday. But maybe one day they'll understand.
