As Y/N turned to leave, Emma called her name once, but let her go. She looked at Regina, who just shrugged.

"You did that on purpose", Peter told the girl who was smirking, as he ran after Y/N. She made her way into the forest, hearing Peter call after her, asking her to stop. She didn't, she was never good at taking orders.

"Y/N, just stop, please", he said. She just couldn't understand why he never told her about this girl. It was simple, Peter was never good at telling the truth. Even at the risk of losing someone he loved. When Y/N had once asked him wether she was his first, he lied and told her she was.

"Stop", he snapped and took her hand to stop her in her tracks. "I'm sorry, let me explain."

"You're in love with her, aren't you?" she said, stopping, and she knew he couldn't deny it, seeing it all over his face.

"But I'm with you now", he said and she shook her head. He knew it wasn't good enough for her.

"You didn't answer my question", she said and Peter let out his breath. She knew what she signed up for with 'the boy who would not grow up', but a love triangle wasn't one of those things.

"I was – in love with her", Peter then said after the short silence. She thought she was his first and only love, and now that reality was shattered.

"And now she's back in Neverland", you said.

"She broke my heart Y/N", he said. "And you were there to pick up the pieces. And I love you."
