I have been, for some time now, seriously considering writing an original fiction based off the ideas of this book. The lead male would still be a vampire (probably some kind of a bad ass) and Jackie would still be on the run from her abusive husband; there would probably still be the werewolves too ;)
However, this new book would be a bit darker and more intense. The Cullen's would be gone and so would the Volturi. I'm still tossing back and forth the idea of Jackie having children though. Maybe 1 older daughter instead of 2, or I've thought she could be pregnant OR I was thinking about the new book being written from the daughter's perspective. The daughter would be 17 or 18 and her mother would be in her mid 30s.
So what do you think? Does this sound interesting? Would you read it?

2.) Love Tom Hardy! I could totally see him as a bad ass vampire and the scene where he tortures Jackie's ex will be so much more believable.

3.) Theo James- best known for his role as Four in the divergent series but not many realize he was in the Underworld sequel with Kate Beckinsale. I think he would make a good lead if I went with the younger version of Jackie or Jackie's daughter.
