Chapter 12

Andy's POV:

As soon as we were done our meal, I paid for it and we left the large restaurant. We walked down the street and found ourselves at a small park with a little pond.

It was still cold outside but neither of us felt the cold

"Xandra I have something small for you" I said, pulling the box of chocolates out of my coat pocket. I handed it to her, her eyes lighting up

"Oh my fuck its chocolate thank you so much" she opened the box quickly and ate one, she then looked at me her face flushing red

"Do you want one?" she said, swallowing.

I laughed and took the box, setting it down beside me and pulling Xandra closer, the little pond beside us was covered in ice, lights surrounded the pond illuminating it in all different colours.

We stood there in silence and peace, just simply enjoying each other's company while the wind blew softly, the snow had stopped falling by now.

Then a harsh sound cut through the peace, it was Xandra's phone. She pulled away from me and took out her phone, looking at it in annoyance.

"Hello?" I shuffled closer to her again, wrapping my arms around her waist from behind.

Xandra's POV:

"Hello?" I said, Andy wrapped his warm arms around my waist as I waited for a reply

"Xandra Blackwood you come home right now! You have no right to be out this late! Its past 12 in the morning! If your not home by 12:15 I am locking you out of the house you hear me?! Get home NOW!"

I listened to what Edna was yelling at me, and when she stopped I took my chance

"You cant lock me out!" my heart racing a little faster, "I am allowed to be out when I want!"

"well I say you come home immediately, you already wasted a minuet! I own the house you live in so I make the rules, get. home. NOW!"

And with that she hung up, I turned off my phone angrily "Ah shit" I muttered

"Whats wrong love?"

I turned around too look at Andy, "I apparently now have a curfew"

Andy looked at me with a shocked expression, "What? Your over 18 Edna cant do that can she?"

"I have no idea but I better get home in..." I checked my phone "8 minuets or I'm screwed!" I tried to run, but its very difficult to run in heels

"Come on, I think this will be faster" Andy picked me up bridal style and ran with me, with me bouncing along in his arms I laughed

We got to the car and Andy set me down, he opened the door for me and he got in himself

"Lets go!"

We drove off, leaving the peace behind us.

"5 minuets!" I said, looking at the time, my house was about 7 minuets away "can we make it?!"

"Yes we can" Andy sped up a little more, we turned the corner and saw my house

We got up to the driveway and I got out of the car quickly, not even taking my purse or chocolate with me, I ran up to the front door of my house and tried the handle

It was locked, I shook the brown door violently, I checked the time and it read 12:14.

 I made it before curfew and she still locked me out!? I banged on the door, "Edna! You said 12:15 and I made it now let me in the house!"
