Chapter 35

After getting back to the mansion, I wanted to get a little rest and lie down. So I headed to the old room Rai and I used to share.

Mei: ...wow. I forgot how detailed Frankenstein made this room. I swear he pays a lot more attention to detail than I expected....one hell of a cleaner too.

The nostalgia of this room was very breathtaking.
I flopped down onto the bed and wrapped myself in the cozy sheets.
This seemed to be the only good thing about coming back to the house.
I was about to fall asleep until I heard the tapping of shoes on the floor.

Mei: goddammit....what? What is it now? Can't you see I'm trying to get some rest?

Vince: someone's bitchy...

Mei: someone is gonna put a foot up your ass if you don't get out of this room! This bedroom is my and Rai's place. You are not allowed!

Vince: what? Afraid Mr. Noblesse will see me in the place you two fuck in.

Mei: ugh. No. I'm afraid I might lash out and wreck the room Frankenstein generously and carefully made for me and Rai, because of some disgusting numbnutt fucktard!!!

Vince: oooo, scary...

Mei: I'LL SHOW YOU SCARY...!!!

I stood up on the bed, but my body froze and I fell back down into the bed.

Mei: ...what the hell...?

Vince: now you should know better than to move when your energy is low.

I really couldn't move. My whole body felt paralized.

Vince: hehe~. So pitiful.

Vince then summoned his scythe and placed the sharp end on my neck.

Mei: ...what the hell do you think your doing?

Vince: isn't it obvious? I'm gonna kill you...what? Did you think I gave up on my goal?

Mei: ....You piece of...

Vince: and to kill you in the bed you and Raizel both share. man, it's like the ultimate declaration of war...that way I can kill him too....

Mei: shut up.....shut the hell up! Your idea alone is a declaration of war, You disgusting nightwalker!!

Vince: still talking big in your position, I'll fix that.

Out of nowhere, at least four to give rounds of bullets shot up from the floor and practically hit Vince, but he dodged them. Then I heard yelling, and a sudden burst of Frankenstein's energy.
With that little amount of energy I was able to move again and stand to my feet off the bed, but I still felt weak. I tried to get to the door, but Vince threw his scythe at me. Luckily, I was able to dodge only slightly.

Vince: now where are you going? I finally get a chance to kill you, and I'm gonna take it.

Mei: ....the hell you will...oh wicked spirit of the dead in limbo; recieve thine judgement and return from where you came. REPENT FOR YOUR SINS!!

I summoned my gauntlets.

Vince: ...so you had enough energy to summon you weapon?

Mei: you have one chance, Vince. Leave...OR RECEIVE MY JUDGEMENT!!

I was still weak. I could barely hold the gauntlets up. Then they vanished...I really didn't have enough energy to keep them stable.

Vince: ...nope. Your still too weak. I don't even need to use a weapon on you at this state.

Vince then rushed and threw a punch at me, but I deflected his hand and grabbed him by the collar of his shirt.

Vince: ...!?

Mei: SLAP OF JUDGEMENT!!!

With enough force, I repeatedly slapped Vince with the front and back of my hand.

Vince: okay okay...I'll stop...

Mei: ...

I tossed Vince onto the floor.

Vince: ...how the hell do you have that much energy left....?

Mei: ....I was acting, you idiot....this is the last time I'll tell you, and you better listen carefully.

I keep some reserved energy combined with Rai's energy stores in my wedding ring just for emergency.

Mei: ....get...the hell....OUT!!!

Vince flinched back and then vanished into thin air.

I walked back over to the bed and fell flat into the sheets.

Mei: ...now I can rest.........Frankenstein is gonna freak out once he sees that crack in the door.
