"Well lookie here, what we got then boys, a little princess" Joe sneered as he looked at the young girl sitting on the rug, a few of her treasured possesions around her.
"Please, I am not doing any harm, sir please", she begged, tears filling her blue eyes.
"Did you hear that, she wants me to give her a break, what do you say lads", Joe said laughing as the girl tried to run.
"Get her Joe, teach her a lesson, shouted one of his friends, but before Joe could do anything, another figure ran into the clearing, turning to face Joe and his three friends.
"Leave her alone you monsters, get away, go on", the stranger stood in front of the terrified girl, protecting her.
"What are you playing at, she's mine to do what I want with, my father said", Joe stared at the stranger with anger in his eyes, before turning to walk away.
The guy shook his head, turning to face the girl, who shook with fear. Gently he knelt beside her, holding her hand. "It's alright sweetheart, he's gone now. What is your name?"
"Sir, please I need to go, I will be in trouble if I am late, goodbye sir", and with that she was gone, running through the woods and out of sight.
