It's not what you think it is (Takao Kazunari x reader)

You happened to be in close ties with Takao Kazunari at Shuutoku High. He would often tease you whenever he gets the chance before, after and during practice and visits you by surprise for no reason.

You were in good terms with him until one day he yelled at you at the Science laboratory. "Damn it (Y/N)-chan! Why do you have to do this to me?!" He stormed out of the room leaving every one of your group members dumbfounded, including you. You had this project to do that involves experimenting and it has to be done today. Your other members had a full schedule for the weekend so there was no other choice but to finish it today.

Two of your members went out to borrow some mop from the janitor since one of them brought a bottle water then accidentally spilled some on the floor. Clumsy right? With that, you were left with (arandomboystudent). It was quiet while doing the experiment until ...

"(Y/N)-san can I borrow your experiment sheet?"

"Sure. It's just beside me and be careful the floor is a bit--" "woah!" He suddenly slipped a bit so he placed his hands on the desk with you on the middle. Now both of you were looking at each other. "--slippery" you were able to finish your sentence then you noticed he blushed while apologizing for his actions. And right on time, Takao went in together with two of your other group members with a mop. Of course he saw what happened.

"Damn it (Y/N)-chan! Why do you have to do this to me?!" And that's the end of the story. Right now, you finished your part of the experiment and excused yourself to find him.

You noticed a half opened door from your classroom and took a little peek inside. There he was, sitting on the desk while staring at the window where the sun sets slowly. "I knew someone was here" you spoke up as you went in. He turned to look at you then sighed as he stood up while digging his hands into his pockets. "What do you want?" He asked coldly. Not even interested to look at you in the eye.

"I just want to clarify on what had happened. It's not what you think you know" he went towards and pinned you to the wall. "Then tell me what exactly happened" he said then you explained right away and he seemed satisfy with it. "Is that all you wanted to tell me?" He asked still showing a cold expression. You nodded slowly.

"I think there is something else. Please tell me" it made you feel like he was desperate to hear something from but you couldn't say it. Well he said please. 'Well you ask for it' you said in your mind then gave a quick peck on his nose. "I love you" was your last words.

He was speechless for a moment then finally broke down from his cold expression. He was blushing like hell and placed his forehead on your right shoulder, still pinning your wrists with his hands. "D-damn it. It was too cute" he mumbled while you let out a laugh. That was the first time you ever saw him get jealous of someone.

-after that-
You walked home together with him after finishing the experiment. He had also apologize to your boy member for some 'misunderstandings.' He also apologized to you because he was assuming too much without hearing your side. He wasn't just jealous because of that but because you didn't had time to talk and hang out with him for the day. You took your time to talk with your group members which made him jealous since you were the only girl in the group.

It wasn't what you thought would turn to be today but at least you got the courage to confess to him with just three meaningful words. You were glad. And proud.

Having that in mind, you didn't realized that you've reached home. "Thanks for walking me home Takao-kun" you smiled. "Call me by my first name from now on. And I didn't respond back to you at the classroom did I?" He said that made you hummed in response. He grabbed your chin gently and placed a soft kiss on your lips. "I love you too" he smiled again then hugged you tightly. Of course you blushed. Who wouldn't?

"You got jealous though. How cute~" you chuckled. "Do not ruin this moment (Y/N)-chan" he warned. Your day went out alright for the two of you.
