Good to be Back (Akashi Seijuro x Reader)

Akashi's POV
~flashback~
"You are not Akashi. Who are you?" Tetsuya asked. It was very obvious that he was shivering with fear just from the sound of his voice. Before I could answer, SHE, my girlfriend named (F/N) came into the gym. "I'm sorry to interrupt Seijuro but Kuroko-kun, here's another towel. I'm sure the other one is already wet" he thanked her and they both switched towels after that.

"I'll be going then" she was about to take her leave but I halted her. "Stop" I said. My voice was cold enough for her to froze in place.

"I'm sorry Seijuro but I'm kinda busy. Maybe later?" She cocked her head to look at me. I was expecting a cheerful expression from her like usual but it was different. She was dumbfounded at what she saw. It made me feel that she saw another person ... A stranger, standing right in front of her.

'Leave her alone!'

A voice echoed in my head and I let HIM do as he pleases. It doesn't change the fact that I am him controlling his body.

"What's wrong? I am Akashi Seijuro. I have not changed at all. There were two of me to begin with. However, if you want to call it a change, then that was because it was necessary" I smiled while looking at their facial expressions.

We ended up a little bargain with the team before we could part ways to a different school. Tetsuya wasn't there that time but he was a part of it. Things didn't ended well between me and (F/N) too. She tried to understand me to begin with. However, I ordered her to stop because it will get is nowhere and told her that I had no clue why I had interest in her in the first place.

I was expecting her to cry like other would do but she gave me loud slap on my cheek. "I just wanted this to be memorable. Thank you" she smiled and quietly exited her way to the door. I hadn't felt anything aside from the souvenir she gave me. I was more focused on other things aside from this silly relationship.
~End of flashback~

"I have never LOST at anything before and I NEVER will"

"Since I always win, I'm always right"

Those were some words I would usually say as a reminder to everyone in my path. It was expected for me and my new team in Rakuzan to win every game on court. Yet, those words above had gone the opposite way when I had felt defeat for the first time.

I had lost.

I had made a mistake.

It was a painful defeat but I'm relieved because I was back.

I've congratulated his team and made amends with Tetsuya. It was good to be back.

"Akashi-kun. (L/N)-san will be at the back of the building to wait for us for the victory celebration of the Seirin team. It's not too late to apologize" he added with a smile. "Thank you for telling me" I responded.

Time skips ...
"Ney Sei-chan. There's something different with your appearance" Mibuchi spoke up while I was packing up my things. "I'm pretty sure it has something to do with your eyes" Hayama said as he removed his jersey shirt off.

"I see. Well I'll go first. I have some things to settle with" I smiled at them while walking out of the door. I scurried myself to the said place and found her leaning on the wall while waiting for her friends to come out.

"(F/N)" I called out to her ad she turned around to look at me. "A-akashi-kun" she said as I came to her closer for better communication.

"I wanna apologize for hurting you back at Teiko. I was at fault" I lowered my head. Even though it wasn't me, I had to apologize just to get her to have no bad intentions of me. I closed my eyes tight, ready to hear her words but instead I felt the warmth of her delicate fingers touching my cheek.

She lift my head up and scanned my whole face. I was a mess. Panting heavily from all the running and tears forming on my eyes. I wasn't in my character at this state but she is an exception. She's the only one who can make me this way. That was why I had interest in her. I love her.

"Is that really you Seijuro?" Her voice calling my first name was overwhelming. She looked at me deeply into my eyes with hope. "I--" I was flabbergasted when she immediately hugged me in her arms. I hadn't felt this for a long time.

"Welcome back ... Seijuro" she whispered. I hugged her back tightly while burying my face on her neck. "Thank you"

I thought I had lost her. She meant everything to me. She's my strength and my weakness. I'm glad I made the right choice to love this woman. She understands what I've been through and had a lot of patience within herself.

It's good to be back.

Extended chapter:
"I see. Well I'll go first. I have some things to settle with" Akashi smiled as he exited through the door.

"H-he smiled ... That was a different smile right?!" Nebuya asked, face still shock from what he saw. "Yeah. It was somewhat not scary. What do you think Reo-nee?" Hayama said.

"R-reo-nee?! What happened to you?!" Hayama jolted away when Mibuchi passed out peacefully on the floor. "It was so beautiful" he added before he blacked out.
