Dear D,
Today you called out to me twice from across the cafeteria and I pretended not to listen.
You know how much does that hurt?
But you know what? You'll never know the pain because I know you'd never in your life ignore me.
I see how you always smile away all the time. Dylan was telling me how unaffected you looked after we ended.
Are they fools?
Can they not see into your eyes?
Can they not see the extra moisture in your eyes when you see me?
Well, I can.
Though I wish I didn't.
