i know i'm late (sorry i've been very busy lately), but i just want to say rip to the legendary musician, prince.
i never really listened to prince, but i have always admired him. he's not only a singer, he's also multi-instrumentalist, a songwriter, a record producer, actor, activist, and innovator.
prince is extremely talented and amazing. he's also african-american (which i feel like most people tend to "forget" or leave it out when they talk about him) and androgynous.
he defied genre categories and won 7 grammys, a golden globe, an academy award, and he was also inducted into the rock and roll hall of fame.
prince has inspired so many celebrities and influenced millions of people.
it's a tragedy losing another talented musician. i'll miss him the same way i miss david bowie, kurt cobain, jimi hendrix, and all those other brilliant musicians that have been taken away by death.
all my condolences to his friends, families, and fans. i know he's probably rocking out with the stars above.
