Me and April spent the whole time together. Unless we had different classes, but most of our classes were together.

It's been a while since I had a real friend. A true friend, someone I can trust.

We were walking in the hall way when a boy with a headband of some kind, skates, and a hockey stick skated right in front of us." Sup red," he said skating around us." Casey you idiot, you could of ran right into us!" April yelled at the guy, I guess his name is Casey." But I didn't,"Casey said stopping by her and leaning on his hockey stick. April just rolled her eyes then looked at me " this is Casey, the idiot." " Hey!" Casey yelled as we giggle to ourselves." Ya ya whatever," he said standing up " Casey this is Thorn. She's new here so don't try to pull anything on her got that!" April said to Casey
" ok I won't, chill red." I giggle a bit and gave him a smile " it's nice to meet you Casey," he smiled and shook my hand
" you too rose." " Rose?" " Ya, since your name is Thorn I think the nick name rose fits," I smile at him. My first nick name " ya, cool idea." " I know, I'm cool like that," April rolled her eyes at him " whatever cool guy, can we go get lunch now?" She asked " ya I'm starving!" I say smiling at her " me too, let's hurry before all the good stuff is gone." He says skating off on his roller blades, April didn't hesitate to follow.

My first real friends and my first nick name. Maybe school won't be bad, I can finally start over on a clean scratch.
I was lost in thought when April called out to me " are you coming?" She asked, I nodded and smiled at her " Ya, I'm coming."
