I open my eyes to see a bright blue sky with fluffy clouds ahead, along with a few flowers blocking my vision. I sit up to find myself sitting on a grassy field, flowers of all colors and shapes surround me. I look around to find someone sitting under the only tree around, and it was huge.

I walk over to find my mother sitting under it with a book in her hands. She was wearing a long beautiful blue strap dress with a yellow sun hat she used to wear in summer.
Her purple eyes meet mine as she smiles at me, then she looks back at her book putting in a sparkly pink book mark I made for her when I was 6. Setting the book to the side before she looks back at me with her warm smile.
"Come," she said holding out her right arm to me, tears went down my cheeks as I run to her, crashing in her arms.
"I miss you so much!!" I yell as I hug her tight, like I'll never let go.
"I know," she said hugging back "I miss you too sweetheart."
I sob loudly for a while as she rubs my back softly. Like she always did when I was upset. Then I started to calm down and lay in her lap, she strokes my hair as she started to sing the song she always sang to me.

"I sat within a valley green
I sat there with my true love
My heart strove to choose between
The old love and the new love
The old for her, the new that made
Me think on Ireland dearly
While soft the wind blew down the glade
And shook the golden barley
'Twas hard the woeful words to frame
To break the ties that bound us
But harder still to bear the shame
Of foreign chains around us
And so I said, "The mountain glen
I'll seek at morning early
And join the brave United Men
While soft winds shook the barley"
'Twas sad I kissed away her tears
Her arms around me clinging
When to my ears the fateful shot
Came out the wild wood ringing
The bullet pierced my true love's breast
In life's young spring so early
And all upon my breast she died
While soft winds shook the barley
I bore her to some mountain stream
And many's the summer blossom
I placed with branches soft and green
About her gore-stained bosom
I wept and kissed her clay-cold corpse
Then rushed o'er vale and valley
My vengeance on the foe to wreak
While soft winds shook the barley
'Twas blood for blood without remorse
I took at Oulart Hollow
I placed my true love's clay-cold corpse
Where I full soon may follow
Around her grave I wandered drear
Noon, night and morning early
With aching heart when e'er I hear
The wind that shakes the barley."

I could feel myself dose off as she sang to me, a smile spread across my face as everything went black again.

After the song ended I could hear my mom say "may your troubles be less and your blessings be more, and nothing but happiness come threw your door."

Then I could feel that she was gone, her warm embrace replaced with a soft blanket and straw mat, with a pillow under my head. My head started to pound and throb making let out a low groan. Then I could hear a voice say "hey guys, I think she's waking up!" Followed by a "keep your voice down Mikey. Can't you see she doesn't feel well." I wanted to see who was talking but my head hurt to much, and I was so tried I couldn't open my eyes if I wanted too. So I just lay there, and go back to sleep.
