So right now I'm sitting on Jace's bed while he talks to me about our situation. I don't know what came I over me but I asked a question that had been roaming in my head for quite a while.
Riele: Do you want to break up?
He looks at me shocked.
Jace: No of course not... Do... Do you?
He asks nervous. I think for a moment. Do I want us to break up? We each other through so much pain... But when those moments where we're together without any drama.... Those moments are amazing... It's like magic...
Plus we've been through all this drama.... Maeve... Braeden.... Me being suicidal... Well... I guess I still am...
He's been there through everything... Should I really throw that away?
Riele: I think being with you will hurt me...
He looks at me sadly then looks down.
Riele: But not being with you might hurt more
He looked up again.
Jace: What are you saying?
Riele: I'm saying that I don't want to break up either... But Jace if you ever feel like this relationship is too much then you can tell me. I get it if the drama I cause in people's lives drives you away.
Jace: What are you talking about? You don't cause any drama.
Riele: Really? Cause it feels like I do...
Jace: Riele everything that's happened... None of that's your fault.
Riele: Yes it is.
Jace: How?
Riele: I must have done something to deserve the life I have... The only thing I don't understand is why I have you...
He sighed as he understood what I was getting at.
Jace: Ri Ri we've been over this
Riele: I know I know
He kissed my head.
Jace: Let's just drop it for now
I simply nodded.
Riele: Ok
I whispered. I thought for a moment. There's one more thing I want to tell him.
Riele: Just one thing.
Jace: What is it?
Riele: Don't try to change me.
He looked at me confused.
Jace: What do you mean?
Riele: *sighed* I know my insecurity sucks I don't like it either but it's not gonna go away over night and until it does I just need you at accept me as I am. I don't want to feel like I need to change who I am when I'm around.
Jace: I will anyways love you. That's a promise.
Riele: Really?
Jace: Forever and always...
He whispered putting his forehead against mine.
Riele: Forever and always....
