Melanie P.O.V.

As we reached the front I couldn't help but tighten my hold on Andy's soft hand. I didn't think he would notice my sudden squeeze because my hand is so small compared to his, but as it turns out he did and he squeezes my hand back almost suffocating my own. The heels of my feet click against the floor as we weave through the hallways. I honestly had no clue where we were going but Andy seems pretty confident so I just follow his long strides that I fail to keep up with. The feeling of being watched-again- pulses through my veins and my eyes wonder to the most mysterious areas in the hospital. I look in the barely lit corners, the rooms with open doors, and even in the bathrooms that the maintenance people are cleaning in but I still don't get the satisfying relief that I have been hoping for. I try to keep my head down and focus on the missteps I am taking. Nothing seems to work and it bothers me so much. I feel bare and open, like anything that I do will give my entire identity away-and my identity will be given to someone unwanted.

I hadn't noticed when Andy stopped so kept walking and bumped into his chest his scent surrounding me and I almost forget what I had just done. I jump off of Andy abruptly and mumble a quick sorry.
"There seems to be something wrong, are you okay?" I look up into his eyes. His eyebrows are furrowed bringing up small creases in between them and his soft lips are formed into a thin pale-pink line.
"Andy I'm fine!" My voice is high and a forced smile forms on my face, Andy doesn't let that pass. He bends down to my level and glares into my eyes. I gasp as I see no sense of confirmation and joking around in his eyes.
"Melanie, tell me. Was it something I said?" He draws small circles on my shoulders with his thumbs.
"N-no it wasn't something you said it's just-"
"What?"
"-do you ever get the feeling that you're being watched?" Andy takes in a sharp breathe and stands up straight quickly and pulls my hand.
"Andy?"
"Come on we need to leave here as soon as possible."
"O-okay." I follow him once again until we reach the busy front desk. There are people shouting at the poor receptionist while she rubs the sides of her forehead. Andy lets go of my sweaty hand but I quickly grab his wrist not wanting him to leave me with this empty feeling.
"I'll be right back, stay here."
"Where are you going!?" I say with panic in my voice. He sighs and grabs my cheeks and smiles softly, while my eyes are still wide.
"I'm just going to get the paper work so we can check you out, if I don't make it out alive promise me you'll move on and be happy."  He says in a playful voice. I can't help but smile and laugh.
"There's that beautiful smile." He kisses my lips with urgency and pulls away.
"If I don't make it out alive I will still date you as a ghost so don't go off with someone else, okay?"
"Okay." He pecks my lips one more time before pulling away and making his way to the front desk. I sigh happily before walking to the hard leather seats in the waiting room and plopping down on them. My feet brush against the ground not quite touching the floor, I sigh in frustration feeling like a child. I sit on the edge of the chair and smirk as my feet are suddenly flat against the ground. I hear a deep chuckle and my head shoots up abruptly I almost get whiplash. A man with chocolate hair, and mud-brown eyes sits across from me smirking. He is fairly attractive but what really hits me is the familiar feeling of being bare. I gasp as his eyes trail down my body and as soon as his eyes meet below my stomach I cross my legs and scoot back in my seat. The man looks displeased and scoffs. His smirk reappears as he sees my feet floating above the floor I scowl. He chuckles, stands up, and walks toward the exit but not before hearing him say: 'Interesting'. Not a second after the strange man exits, I see Andy walking toward me with a clipboard in his hand.
"Hey." He says as he sits down in the chair next to me.
"Hi." I say with a smile, completely forgetting my small encounter.
"So, turns out all that chaos was because of us."
"What do you mean by that?"
"Well all of those people were waiting to get checked out, but the hospital has this weird policy that they can't get released until the people before them, and the cycle starts again until that."he says as he points at the crowd of people staring at us impatiently, it was kind of creepy.
"Did they at least get to fill out the paperwork!?" I say as guilt fulfills me.

"Oh yeah, after we're done all the little piggies get to go home."  I sigh in relief, and notice that the feeling is now gone. I decide to push it to the back of my head and take care of what is really important at moment.

"Oh my gosh, I thought I would never see the sun again!" I hear Andy laugh behind me as I stretch my short arms, though it was still very cold and my throat was dry it felt good after a couple of weeks in the hospital.
" let's head home."
"Home?"
"Well did you expect me to live in a box?"
"More like in the sewers with the Ninja Turtles." Andy rolls his eyes and picks me up by my waist. I squeal as I feel his cold lips press against my forehead.
"Let's go."
"Okay." As we walk to the car I hear the boys behind us.
"Guys wait, don't leave us!" C.C. Yells. I turn to look at Andy as the boys get closer to us and he nods at me.
"Run!" We both say as we run toward a black hummer. I don't have time to acknowledge its beauty as we run into the car and slam the doors. Andy locks all the doors when his phone rings. It's C.C., and from what I can hear he is very smug. Andy puts the phone on speaker.
"Why yes Christian?"
"Andy, how are you going to drive without any keys!?" I look up and see C.C. waving a pair of keys in front of the windshield as the rest of the guys are laughs there heads off.
"C.C.?"
"Yes?"
"Those are the house keys." C.C.'s smile falters as he takes notice of what type of keys they are, Andy laughs as he starts the car.
"Andy, open the DANM door." Andy rolls his eyes as he unlocks the door, and the guys get in. They leave the doors open for a couple of minutes. I smile as I realize what they are doing. Andy starts driving the car and the doors shut as he drives.
"Haven't you people ever heard of closing the godamned door?" I laugh at his reference and shake my head.

Thirty minutes later we pull up to a huge house, not exactly a mansion.
"Melanie?"
"Yes?"
"Welcome home."
