Fifteen.

Rockelle’s P.O.V

I was on my way home from the clinic when I decided to see how Malakai was doing.

I knocked on the door and Dontae opened the door.

“Oh, Igneous you alright?” Dontae said.

“My names Rockelle.” I corrected him.

“Same difference.” I shook my head.

“Whatever is Malakai here?”

“Upstairs.” I nodded and made my way up.

“MALLY!” I hugged him.

 “Oh...Rocky you cool.”

“Yeah...”

“Your fat man shit.” I stepped back.

“That was rude.”

“Sorry...” We sat down and just talked.

“So, how was the check up?”

“Good, look heres a picture.” I handed it over.

“What is it? Looks like my shit.”  Malakai said while turning it around

“That’s not nice, that’s my baby man.” I complained

“What do you expect me to say? That shits ugly.”  Malakai said while putting it up.

I couldn’t help but laugh.

“I know right...still I love you Malakai...did you know that?” I asked while smiling at him.

“Nah, I didn’t. But thanks for letting me know. I’ve got something for you. Close your eyes.” I done as I was told and closed my eyes. He pulled my wrist and I felt something cold. I looked down. It was a charm bracelet that had R and M on it.

I smiled but stopped when I realised that he wasn’t laughing along.

“What’s wrong Malakai?”

“Whats that? Why’s Hayden’s name on your f*cking wrist?” He looked angry

“I don’t understand why you so angry? I didn’t realise it mattered,” I stepped back while rubbing my bump.

“What do you mean you didn’t realise that it wouldn’t matter. I like you. Don’t you realise that?” Malakai said looking pissed. “Hayden doesn’t like you. He’ll just use you like he’s using Kadisha.”  I watched him in shock. “He’s a dad. Did you know that?”

My face dropped.

“Why you saying this? Stop lying.”  I said while walking around.

“Lying? Mate I don’t lie. Call him and ask.”

“Fine, I will.”

I went to my phonebook and called him.

...

.

.

“Oh Rocky, how was the scan babes?” He asked.

“Tell me the truth Hayden.” I started, ignoring his question.

“What?”

“Tell me the truth,”

“The truth about what?” He asked.

“Do you have a child Hayden?”

“Well...uhm...about that.  That situation is kind of complicated.” He said.
