Back at the pack House Sophie's POV
I wake up in Jace's arms. I don't remember exactly what happened.
"Jace what happened? Why don't I remember anything?"
"I saved you. And I don't know why you don't remember anything."
"Ugh! I feel like I just pulled an all nighter."
My head is killing me.
"Yeah that is to be expected."
"What?"
"Just rest honey. I will be here when you wake up"
JACE'S POV
When Sophie is asleep I get up and go to the office.
"Alpha, there are some problems with some of the neighboring packs." My beta, or second in command, told me.
"Which packs?" I ask
"White rose, and wolf fang packs." He said.
"Okay. so what are we going to do about them?"
"I have no idea, alpha."
"Well you better figure it out because I am not risking my mates life again because someone is stupid and don't know how to make a plan of action. Am I understood Ralph?"
"Yes alpha."
"Good. Now if you will excuse me I'm going to go back to my mate."
No one had anything to say.
As I got back to my mate, I heard a scream coming from my room. I run to the room and fly through the door.
"WHATS WRONG?!?" I yell. I then see that Sophie is thrashing in the bed like someone is attacking her.
"Soph, baby, wake up. It's just a dream."
She wakes with a start.
"Shh. It's okay."
"It was so bad. It felt so real." She cries.
"I know baby it's okay. I'm here now. Don't worry everything will be fine."
She falls asleep in my arms after that.
