Jungkook's POV

I dropped myself onto the bed after leaving my phone and wallet on the coffee table, huffing deep breaths several times in a minute. I took out the folded paper consisting Taehyung's number and smiled; grabbing my phone from the coffee table and saved his number (Taehyung's contact name in Jungkook's phone is Taehyung-ssi).

Text him, my inner conscience spoke. I rolled my eyes and told it to keep shut. Oh, come on. You won't regret it.

I looked down at Taehyung's contact and tapped onto the message icon. Wondering should I send, I let out a soft sigh and starting typing.

(Taehyung - Tae
Jungkook - Kookie)

Hi, Taehyung

I'm sorry, who's this?

It's Jungkook.

Oh hey, Jungkook! Sorry, I don't have your number, hehe~ :p

well, what do you know?

So what's up?

I softly chuckled.

Nothing, just finished with my shift. What about you?

Hanging out at Starbucks. Getting some fresh air, I guess you call it?

Haha, yeah. :D

Yeah...

Hey Kookie?

Yeah?

Wanna hang out tomorrow?

I widened my eyes. I read the same message multiple times before I could reply.

Sure, if you ain't busy.

Great! So, I'll see you at your cafe at 12? I'll pick you up.

Alright, so see ya?

Okay, see ya! Gtg now. Mom's callin. Bye, Jungkook!

Bye, Taehyung!

And like that, our conversation ended. I never expected Taehyung to be like this, well technically type like this. I mean, it's not like him. At school, he's the badass who acts cold and turns every girl's hopes to be with him down. His beautiful features from his head all the way to his toes, who wouldn't fall for him? Some boys also turned gay just by staring at him... including me. I had never figured out that I had a massive crush on him until the day he passed through my class and flashed a wink at me. Though it might not be meant for me, but it was enough to melt my heart and turn my straight status into GAY. All the thoughts in my head slowly causing me to drift into a deep sleep.

Meanwhile...

Taehyung's POV (at Starbucks)

Jeon Jungkook. 18 years old. A sophomore transferee in my school. His raven hair, glistening eyes, cute attitude and bunny-like smile indicates everything in my perspective. To summarize, he's perfect in a person's life like mine.

I honestly have a crush on him, resulting my childish side exposed in front of him every time we clash into each other, and I don't mind about it.

My thoughts were occupied by his biography until my phone let out a ding. I blinked my eyes and grabbed my phone to check the incoming message.

Hi, Taehyung

Heh? An unknown number.

I'm sorry, who's this?

It's Jungkook.

Oh, so it's Jungkook~ My eyes sparkled as I diligently replied to his text.

Oh hey, Jungkook! Sorry, I don't have your number, hehe~ :p

So what's up?

Nothing, just finished with my shift. What about you?

What a hardworking kid he is. And I'm here sitting comfortably on a beanbag in Starbucks enjoying my iced latte!

Hanging out at Starbucks. Getting some fresh air, I guess you call it?

Haha, yeah. :D

Yeah...

Hmm.. why not hanging out with him tomorrow at the mall? Sure, have a date with him, my inner self distracted.

Hey Kookie?

Yeah?

Wanna hang out tomorrow?

I mentally facepalmed myself as shades of crimson red began to appear.

Sure, if you ain't busy.

Great! So, I'll see you at your cafe at 12? I'll pick you up.

Alright, so see ya?

As I was about to lay an alphabet into the text box, a contact suddenly appeared, leaving my phone to ring and me squeaking in shock. I looked around and lucky me, no one caught me and seem to bother their own businesses. I rejected the call and replied Jungkook's message.

Okay, see ya! Gtg now. Mom's callin. Bye, Jungkook!

Bye, Taehyung!

As soon as I saw his reply, I tapped onto the contacts icon and dialled mom. After connecting, she straight away picked up the call.

"KIM TAEHYUNG! WHY ON EARTH DID YOU NOT ANSWER MY CALL?" she screamed. Jeez, this woman needs some meditation sometimes.

"Mom---"

"Don't you MOM me. Why didn't you answer?" I was startled a bit when she cut me off. It indicated that i missed something. IMPORTANT.

"I-I was..." my voice began to search for the right words. "I left my phone in the car, and so by the time I got it, I saw a missed call. Sorry?" Great, now I'm a liar. Good work there, Kim Taehyung.

"Really? Okay then, just come back home quickly because there's something I need to tell you," she said. Phew. Lucky I didn't get caught.

"And by the way, buy me an iced latte from Starbucks on your way home," she added. "Bye, sweetie and take care."

"Alright, mom. Will be there in 30," I answered. And right after that, she hung up. I groaned and picked up my wallet then walked to the counter to take-out an iced latte before leaving Starbucks.
