Luke POV:
I woke up feeling like crap. This has to be the hardest couch ever. I saw Kira walk into the kitchen. I got up and followed.
"How was the couch?"
"Really, really hard. But it kinda reminded me of our first fight as a married couple. I made a joke about pregnant woman and you snapped on me and made me sleep on the couch downstairs."
She giggled. That's the first time I heard that giggle in two years.
"That's not my fault. I was pregnant and hormonal."
"You're right. Have you ever thought about having another baby?"
"I have, but I'm not sure. Maybe someday down the line, but definitely not now. Kendall's still a baby."
"Kira, I missed out on another baby."
"I'm sorry. Maybe if I stayed we could have talked about-"
"-trying again with us."
"No we could've talked about joint custody."
"Give me one reason that we shouldn't be together."
"I'm dating someone."
"W-what's his name?"
"Dak."
