this is dedicated to anyone who is unable to be open about their sexuality because of family, religion, or other reasons, love will find a way for you darling, i promise.

i was so black and white,
the thought of being colorful had only ever crossed my mind when i was told to that it was wrong, because what child always does what they're told, but the feeling of ignoring something so beautiful quickly becomes so old.

i'm not a child anymore,
and neither are you, those thoughts have always crossed your mind haven't they, you've never been monochrome. you've always called this colorful place home.

why would i ever want to love in a straight line, when i could so easily make you mine?

i look at you and all i can comprehend are greens and blues.

if we remain lovers, think of all the things we could paint with or colors.
