i saw my reflection in your cheap sunglasses,
i almost didn't recognize myself behind the shade of pink on my cheeks and the enthusiasm in my eyes,
i look at you like i do at the sky,
gaze bright and smile wide.
you're better than any sunset or star though love,
i will hate the day you join them above.
