creating constellations

flower girl

she smells like roses,
maybe it's because she puts them in her hair so much.

it's quite sweet actually,
she never picks them because she doesn't want to kill them pointlessly,
she finds them on the ground,
picks off the thorns,
then puts them behind her ear.

when they get too wilted,
she flattens them and puts them in a notebook.

if i try asking her about it,
the only response i get it is
"death doesn't end beauty"

i don't understand you flower girl,
but words cannot describe how much i love you.
