"Maddie!" Yells my mom from downstairs i put Brooklyn is her bouncer and walk downstairs "Did hayes come home last night??" she asks me looking panicked "Uh, I don't think so why?" i reply with because i didn't see my twin last night after he went out to play basketball. "Something is wrong, one of his friends said he was very upset about something and told them he was just gonna go home, but he never arrived" my mom said i looked down to the floor thinking, what is he upset about?? He seemed fine not too long ago. "Have you called Nash?" i ask her "Yeah he hasn't seen him either, him and the Jacks are on their way now" she says i run my fingers through my hair and go back upstairs to get changed i put my babies in their cribs and change and tie my hair in a high ponytail. "Hey Nash" i say as he walks in "Hey Maddie" he says with a smile i hug him and the Jacks "Im gonna go look for him" i say putting on my coat "Mum watch the babies" i call as i leave the house i walk around a few streets but their is no sign of Hayes. Where would he go if he was upset... Usually home to me or mom but he didn't. I run my hands over my head and look of into the distance the lake... Hayes must be at the lake!
I continue to walk down to the Lake, the Lake me and Hayes used to play at when we were about 8 or 9, we had lots of fun times and get memories at that lake. Once i get their i look up and down the sand dunes i see him laying on the sand i walk over "Hayes..." i say quietly i bend down next to him and see his big puffy blue eyes he's been crying i pull him into a hug and he cries i ask him whats wrong, he tells me he went onto another girl, He made the wrong decision but Danielle hates him, i tell him first that he fucked up but then i held my crying twin "I miss this" he says, "Same... The babies really did change everything didn't they" i sigh "Yeah, but they are good babies just need some twin time occasionally" hayes smiles i nod "Come on..." hayes says standing up and taking off his jumper and shirt "What??" i say really confused "Everytime we came here we went swimming lets go" says hayes "Are you crazy?" i laugh "A tad, but so are you so..." he says i laugh and shake my head. We run into the water and dive in just like old times... I miss my old normal
