"hoseok?"
he spun around.

chunhwa, haneul and
yoora were stood in a line; yoora had just spoken.
the other girls didn't exactly look ecstatic to be in her presence–the opposite of around 75% of the boys in their school.

hoseok shifted his gaze down to her hand that had two familiar-looking tickets placed atop of it.

"knock yourself out." she winked, sickly.

he took them without hesitation.
and she left him there–both in location and confusion–with the sorrowful trail of teen girls following behind her.

"that was random." he muttered to himself.

too random.

。。。

soojeong was reposed on a solitary bench, just outside the science block of the school.
the accustomed silk, tuft hair–the first thing she saw–exiting from the door she was facing stole her upmost attention when he grinned, his usual greeting.
she raised and unenthusiastic hand as a small wave.

"what's up?" he asked, taking a seat next to her.

she rubbed her left eye tiredly.

"i don't know.

she didn't.

just crappy."

yoora overheard the simplistic conversation as she was headed towards her next class, by coincidence.
she took her place behind a wall.

"i don't like it when you feel crappy." he confessed, sadly smiling.

soojeong put an awkward hand to her cheek, trying to cover up the flushing of her face.

"don't worry about me." she replied.

he turned away.

reaching a hand into his pocket, he felt the papery graze of the thin tickets that yoora had given him a few periods ago.

they were land theme park tickets.

"hold out your hand for a sec." he said, taking them out.

she did.
he placed them on top of her palm–both of them.

yoora gasped silently.
a wave of vexation sunk from her face to her heart, and she felt it.
that wasn't the plan.

"are you sure?" soojeong asked, studying them.

he nodded happily.

"thank you."
she almost hugged him.

almost.

hoseok then shook his head, his cheeks hurt from smiling.

"it's no biggie."

yoora turned to walk away.

"i like you, soojeong." he blushed and grabbed a clump of his hair in a fist anxiously.

"sorry." he quickly contradicted, and fled the scene so that he didn't have to see the look on her face.
so that he didn't have to feel any more sorry for himself.

yoora heard everything.

soojeong didn't know what to think, what to say, what to do.

but she grinned
and it reminded her of him.
