Monroe's POV:
"Are you texting your sister?" Gwen asked me as we waited for our parents to pick us up from Oceanography club. I nodded with a smile, Roxy and I have been talking a lot. It's so good being able to have communication with her. "She's thinking about taking me out to dinner Saturday evening." Gwen smiled. "That's good. I'm really happy that you guys are starting to build your relationship again." I nodded before seeing Johnie pull in front of us in her truck. "I'll see you on Monday." I smiled at Gwen before grabbing my bookbag and getting into the front seat. "Hey, did you have fun?" She asked me and I nodded before we drove off.
We sat downstairs in the movie room. I sat down beside Phoenix who was eating a slice of pepperoni pizza. "Is it good?" I smiled at him and he looked up at me with pizza sauce all over his mouth. "Yup!" He giggled and I chuckled before eating from my cheese pizza. "What movie are we watching?" He asked Ciara who smiled. "Big Hero 6." She smiled snd he cheered. She laughed softly before putting it into the DVD player.
I looked at myself in the mirror after I put on my dress and smiled. I was wearing a black and grey striped t-shirt dress with some black sandals. I French braided my hair and tied the end off with a ponytail holder. My phone buzzed and I looked at it before going downstairs. "Where are you going all dressed up?" Brian asked me, looking up from his phone. "My sister's taking me out to dinner." I smiled before walking outside and towards her car. "Hey, ready to go have fun?" She smiled and I nodded before getting into the car.
