Monroe's POV:

I heard the doorbell ring so I ran up to the door and opened it, seeing Gwen standing there with red eyes. "Hey." I bit my lip. "Hey." She said back. "You were right. I shouldn't have been so selfish and kept this a secret from my parents." She said to me. "No you're right. I shouldn't have forced you to tell your family if you're not ready." I said as she ran into my arms. She cried into my chest as I held her close to me. I rubbed her back as she cried. I let her in and we sat on the couch; her cries became quiet and she just sniffed. "I told my mom and dad." She said to me. "What did they say?" I asked her. "They were really shocked but they accepted it." She said and I nodded. "Thank you for being there for me." She said and laid her head on my shoulder.

"Good morning." Johnie said to me as I fixed myself a bowl of cereal. "Morning." I yawned and started eating. "Long night?" She smiled and I blushed. After Gwen went home, we texted the entire night. "Something like that." I smiled as my other brothers came downstairs. The kitchen started filling up as they started fixing themselves breakfast. I felt my phone vibrate and I looked at it to see a text from Gwen

from: Gwendolyn💕
Morning! ☺️

I smiled and replied to her

to: Gwendolyn💕
Morning babe! Did you sleep well?

from: Gwendolyn💕
Yeah, I felt a lot better after talking to you😘

to: Gwendolyn💕
Haha I'll see you at school😘

I smiled and locked my phone before finishing up my breakfast and putting my dishes in the dishwasher.

"Homecoming Week is coming up!" Gwen said and pointed to the colorful posters that were hanging around. "What's Homecoming?" I asked her. "One of the best weeks ever." She smiled as we walked to lunch.
