See You Later

There are no words left to be spoken.

Our hearts will forever be broken.

We stand watching this blanket of white, as your life's blood turns it to red.

Because your life is over, you are dead.

Your song is over, you will never again sing.

I closed my eyes and I could here death's wings.

As they came to carry you away.

I wondered if I will see you again someday.

In the end did you feel peace or fear.

Was there a smile on your face or a tear.

Its raining, are the angels crying.

Were they with you as you laid dying.

This world has lost another bright light.

And we are left feeling it isn't right.

Are there tears in heaven today, not for you but for us.

Our spirits need comfort so much.

We all play our parts.

And say good-bye to you with heavy hearts.

Please watch over them, let them feel you.

For some of them this is new.

I will be fine.

And my light will again shine.

I will take care of them.

Isn't that the way its always been.

It was easier when you were around.

Because in you a friend could always be found.

I will not say good-bye, I will say see you later.

Because someday I will see you again standing at the side of our creator.
