"Hi, Dad." I sigh, carrying my son into my parents' living room, Steven walking slowly behind me.
"Hello, Mister Nelson." Steven greets.
"Steven, I told you to stop that. Just call me Andrew." Dad says, huffing afterwards.
"Sorry, Andrew." Steven looks at me only receiving a stone faced response. I'm still quite pissed he's just dumping our son and I here. All because of his crazy homophobic ass mom.
"Colin, is everything alright?" Mom asks, causing everyone to look at me.
"Everything is fine. Just a little tired." I say, River starting to wiggle in my arms.
"Okay, sweetheart. Let me take River and you go up and get some sleep." I gently hand River over to his Grandmother.
"Steven," he nods and follows me up to my old bedroom.
"Babe, please quite being this way." Steven pleads, taking my hand in his once the door closes.
"Just come by. I don't want River to forget you." I sigh, my energy drained as well as finding no reason to argue.
"I will. I don't want to miss anything with our little man." He says, kissing my forehead.
"Okay." I sigh, wrapping my arms around his waist.
"I love you, baby." He says kissing my lips.
"I love you too."
"I'm gonna go say goodbye to River. Get some sleep." I nod, giving my boyfriend another kiss before curling up in my old bed.
