Chapter10

Imani POV
Sam wanted to go out tonight with Samira. We were going out to some club but I didn't want to stay for too long.

"Are you ready?" I asked Samira.

"Yes." She came out.

"Let's go." Sam said.

We walked out of Samira's house and to my car.

"Wait, pic real quick?" I handed Sam my phone.

"You look good tonight!" Samira got in the back seat.

"She sure does." Sam handed me my phone and sat in the passengers seat.

I drove off to the club within 40 minutes. It was kinda packed when we got in and everyone was either drinking or dancing.

"Ooh, drinks." Sam ran off to the bar.

"I spy with my little eye, a cute tall guy." Samira smirked.

I was literally lost! I didn't know what to do or where to go. This is my second time entering a club.

"You lost?" I heard a voice say.

I turned around and saw the guy from the other day.

"Listen, if your gonna start with that staring shit, I suggest you move away." I rolled my eyes.

"Damn, you wanna get a drink?" He asked me.

"Sure." I walked to the bar.

We ordered our drinks and took our seats.

"Here's yours." The bartender gave me my drink.

"Thank you." I smiled.

"Why is a girl like you here alone?" He sipped his drink.

"What do you mean a girl like me?" I furrowed my brows.

"A pretty girl." He looked down.

"My friends left me wondering alone." I sipped mine.

"Do you wanna get out of here?".

"I'm pretty sure my boyfriend won't like that." I chuckled.

"Why you here if you've got somebody waiting for you?".

"You ask to many questions.".

"I'm just getting to know you.".

"Your a really special girl...?" He added.

"Julia." I gave him a fake name.

"Julia." He ended his sentence.

I finished my drink then stood up.

"Can I get your number?" He asked.

I tried saying no but I finally gave in.

"Bye, Julia." He winked.
