A groan passed from the elleth's lips as she rose from the bed, only to realize that she reside not  in Alqualondë, but on a ship.

"You are finally up.."  Ëarmírë spoke softly

"Ugh.. my head" Tinnuel groaned "oh no... it happened ,did it not?"

Ëarmírë was silent for but a few seconds, for she tried to find words which could convey such a tragedy in a more lighter manner. Unfortunately, no words flowed onto her tongue, save one.

"Yes..." The spirit responded quietly as she looked away from the maiden's gaze.

Hearing such news caused Tinnuel's heart to break, for she could not help her kin from being ruthlessly slaughtered.

Seeing the elleth's expression of sadness made Ëarmírë's heart sink. Such a young maid, so vibrant and happy, now shall see the woes of the past.

"I...I am so sorry, Tinnuel.." Ëarmírë spoke as she wrapped her arms around the elleth, pulling her into a warm embrace.

Though she was but a spirit, there was a warmth in her embrace and such calmed Tinnuel. Soon enough, the door began to creak open, causing Ëarmírë to disappear, yet her warmth to remain. Ëarwë, Maglor and Elenariellë entered the chambers.

"Are you okay , Tinwe?" Elenarielle inquired as she took a seat next to the maiden.

Tinnuel did not know how to respond, for both rage and sadness were battling within her heart.  In order to not cause suspicion, she forced a smile upon her lips and attempted to cover up her true emotions with the sweetest voice possible.

"Ah, I am just a bit groggy " The maiden responded "though I ask...how did I get here?"

It was when they heard her question, that the maiden noticed the they two ellons displayed an expression of discomfort. Whereas her sister looked quite hesitant to answer her inquiry. Despite that, the young elleth still desired to know as to who hit her when she was about to negotiate with the King of the Teleri.

"Why are you so silent?" She asked "I am merely asking as to how I got here?"

Maglor  glanced at Earwe and then at Elenarielle. Seeing that they both did not want to answer the raven haired maiden's inquiry, the  silver eyed ellon then let out a soft sigh.

"You were knocked out by one of our soldiers" Maglor answered "he had though you were a double ally, yet of course, we knew that you were not "

He then added:

"Before he could finish you off, he was killed by the King himself and Earwe took you and your bags to the boats "

"Well then..." Tinnuel said in her mind

"Due to such, there has been some...tension" Maglor said

"Tension?" Tinnuel repeated "why is that?"

"Because there are some who think you are working for the Valar!" Earwe blurted out.

With that, Tinnuel couldn't help but to feel anxious, for indeed she had dug her own grave.  She could tell from the expressions of Maglor and Elenarielle that Earwe was telling the truth.

She took a deep breathe and began to speak.

"Am I to be punished?" Tinnuel asked

"Fortunately, no" Elenarielle answered "but you are going to be under watch"

"You mean I will be under house arrest?" Tinnuel responded

"No, but you are to stay close to us as we journey towards Arda" Maglor answered "which means you cannot wander off to do any negotiations"

The elleth was about to protest, until realized that the others were right. She may be in the body of Tinweriel, but her soul is still a simple Silvan elf of Mirkwood, and deep down she knows that she has no knowledge of political negotiations.

"This is going to be harder than I thought" Tinnuel thought "but then...perhaps this may be beneficial to me"

"I accept my fate" Tinnuel responded

"You sound like you are going to prison, Tinwe" Earwe said "it is not like that at all, you will still be able to to things you used to do.."

"But I will be watched" Tinnuel sighed

"It is for the best " Maglor sighed "believe me, it would have been worse we didn't intervene for you"

Despite the circumstances, Tinnuel couldn't help but to be relieved that there were people who still supported her. Yet, she knew she still had to act smarter and make sure such bonds are not broken.

"Thank you... for saving me" Tinnuel spoke quietly

"Do not worry, Tinwe" Elenarielle smiled "we will always have your back"

"Indeed!" Earwe and Maglor smiled

Upon hearing those words, a smile crept up Tinnuel's lips. Despite everything that had happened, the light of hope illuminated her heart.

"The impossible will become possible"
